For the longest time, I ve hadn t been the best with socializing in fact, I d go to say I was stalker level of deficient granted, not with malicious intent, just trying to keep some sort of conversation alive and be involved with others socially
It s kinda cringey to look back at my past self and say
Woah what the heck was I thinking!
This was kind of the main reason I struggled in grade school with finding acceptance. Well, with it being 10 years since then, I ve widened up to understand boundaries better.
Granted, I never though I d be in a relationship in my life if it wasn t for my partner being so open to expressing concerns or thoughts through communication I don t think I d get nearly as far.
Personally, one major thing that held me back in the dating world was worrying how others thought of me as well felt my values.
And I will admit, yeah I still dread moments where I have people mad at me, to a point of anxiety driven panic attacks but I get over them at some point. I m not perfect nor am claiming to be lol.
I eventually learned that it s okay to have my own values that stray away from the family influenced ones hammered into me growing up (primarily religion-based.
With that being said, I can still respect their (my family) values and practices, while explaining how I feel about it and retaining a sense of unique individuality.
I m doing what I need to do in order to finally get my footing in this world, and so far so good the way things are going.
I know there s still going to be things to work on and life will keep throwing me curveballs; but having this recent unlocking of once foreign emotions, alongside my partner to introduce me to such a way of enlightenment I have my head high and don t plan on stopping any growth anytime soon.

I always say getting in relationships is easy and it really doesn't take much for someone to say Yes. The real challenge is maintaining the relationship. Don't be in such a hurry to be with someone just to avoid that familiar lonely silence when youre back home. Your intentions should always be I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with this person. . You must be ready for commitment. And no, leaving when they mess up or don't quite live up to your standards isn't commitment; It's immature childishness.

What keeps me from flirting is #4. I don't see the point in flirting when I 'know' I'm somebody nobody will be attracted to anyway. Definitely not to my morbidly obese looks, and beyond that also not to my inability to hold any kind of entertaining conversations. I hno idea how smalltalk works, and I regularly notice that I have absolutely no clue what's going on in 80% - 90% of csses when people talk about their interests and hobbies.

I wonder why this guy I once dated (who now works at the same place as me, different shift) is still interested but he acts all nervous and I can tell he s trying his best not to look at me. I know he has Add but can t tell if that has anything to do with his behavior. His buddies still speak to me. I wonder if flirting will loosen him up but the problem is I m shy myself and I m not good at flirting

Hey Psych2go! i was just wondering if you could make a video about how depression affects our blood or The Phenomenon when I see my crush in my dreams, it means my crush is thinking about me. I'm really interested in how you guys will cover any of these topics. I would really appreciate it. Thanks for the video Psych2go!

Can you do a video about how to deal with homophobic parents? I currently live in a home where I am secretly a gay femboy, but my parents are homophobic Christians so if I came out they would kick me out of the house. It has caused me depression and other problems. I would love to hear some advise about that.

I never flirt. It's childish and women use it to manipulate or gain attention or validation making you a pawn or plaything that will never be taken seriously. Strike up a conversation. If the woman seems interesting and interested then ask her out. It's either yes or no. Flirting creates doubt and uncertainty.

Don't forget guys, don't try anything or you're in deep trouble. If you make the first move, then you're probably going to get fired, escorted out of wherever you are, or even have the cops called on you. The girls have 100% of the control, and our society is incredibly unforgiving of men facing rejection.

My best friend told me never to make the first move as a girl. Here in my country if you do that a guy who might not really like you may say yes because they want to use you for your body. You open yourself up to being used and mocked. Making the first move as a female is not a thing here.

Feel slightly bad now, that before the last date, I had to put up with 7 hours of pure idiocy in a meeting beforehand, leaving me in a very negative headspace. Ah well. He clearly didn t die from my frustrated rant, because we have another date coming up. Still, might watch that one.

To flirt with someone You must know someone.
To know someone You must not be strange.
To not be strange You must have better childhood.
To have better childhood You must have time machine.
And thats impossible.
I think that I do not have to watch this video.

Point 3/4 and 6 are contradictory to me. Point 3/4 said to not express negativity and keep things positive instead of saying how you truly feel (which could be negative feelings. But in Point 6, you need to express your true emotions and not hide them?

I m sure if I want to learn how to flirt, but I am interested in it since 2009 when I played flirting games on the computer.
By the way, what s the difference between flirting and seduction? Can you make a video about that, Psych2Go?

My flirting secret is that i'm never flirting. EVER. But if a guy finds a girl attractive and he finds out shes funny, then every single time she makes him laugh, he considers that flirting lmao.

The most effective form of flirting is just being physically attractive. Exercise, diet, get a haircut that compliments the shape of your face and find an interesting clothing style.
