Me and my boyfriend met online and at first we were just friends for almost 2 years. He asked me out 2 months ago and Im so lucky to have him. We never got into a fight, not even when we were just friends. Our connection is really strong and he is the only person I love deep down from my heart. Soon we will meet and Im sure this will be a day I will never forget.
The only hard thing is the time difference, even if its just 6 hours it makes a huge difference. Soon it will get even worse because hes going to the army for 5 years where the usage of the phone will be restricted
Im really scared I finally want to break the distance but 5 more years will make me lose my mind

Im currently visiting my girlfriend for the first time ever in person. Its absolutely killing me that I have to leave tomorrow. Shes absolutely perfect for me. Shes the most beautiful girl in the world and also selfless, personality is the best and so is her sense of humor. I love every single thing about her and here I am in the middle of the night with one full day left but after that, idk when Ill see her again. Its hurting so much that I have to leave, I wish I could bring her with me back home. Shes an absolute keeper and we get along so well, never a dull moment or even an argument (online or in person. So yeah thats how I got here: /

I've been in a LDR with my gf for about 15 months now. She lives in Sweden and I live in Germany. I'm struggling with depression and anxiety and I feel like I might just not be made for LDRs because whenever we're apart I have so many doubts and the lack of physical contact hurts me so much. Is there a way to learn how to cope better? I absolutely do not want to give up on her but it's really rough hanging on: ')

I was in a long distance relationship and I moved 12 hours to go see her in Colorado. I didnt want to lose her, so I did the only thing I could do to keep her. I ended up having to leave because she wouldnt hang out with me much. We are apart now, but I feel like we are still together because we trusted each other not to cheat on either. I still love her to death and I think its my only chance at love

I'm in a long distance relationship, we're both senior highschool going to the same school but as for her she is homeschooled and is in a different country. We haven't seen each other face to face yet but soon there will be and i hope it will. I learned a lot from this and hope things will work out in the future.
I hope none of us get tired in this relationship

I've been in a long-distance relationship for 10 years. And all I have to say is Please Communicate your feelings. it's hard, but make it fun by playing couple quiz games like lovify. It kept our conversations interesting, especially on boring days. Never stop trying. Things will take time, but they'll work out in the end: )
