8 Subtle Signs You're More Attractive Than You Think

Most people can get a good gauge of how attractive they are based on the compliments they get from others, how many relationships theyve had, how popular they are on social media, and so on. But did you know that this isnt always an accurate representation of your own attractiveness? Also, if you are curious, find out if you're compatible with someone

Attractiveness is just another way of judging someone. And I don't think your attractiveness defines your worth. I'd like to illustrate this with my own example:
TBH, I've a kind and respectful perspective towards people. Even though if they are my friends, I'd treat them with kindness, and because of this they find me an easy catch. They feel like they can say anything to me, even the hurtful words. I was kinda person who helps my friends out when they are in need, but WHAT ABOUT ME? when I ask them, they start making excuses and believe me, they were literally EXCUSES.
In one of the psych2go video, it was stated that kindness, honesty and treating others with respect is a very attractive trait which, sadly, is not true at all.
I used to have crushes when 2 years back, and it's just that I hadn't had the courage to speak myself out. But still I didn't gave up, I started conversation slow and made the flow in that way, but in vain. And this CRUSH thing vanished when I realized that mostly girls are the reason for breakup. They leave the guy when they don't feel like what they felt during the start of a relationship (which is clearly absurd. Not all girls are same, I admit, but majority of women fall into this category. WHY? Because there's a thing which dominated love and that is POWER.
So I'm on the journey to stop being nice, kind and respectful enough to everyone around me. I am no more interested in making connections and friends. I just enjoy my own company because I think that at any day, people will leave and will get your heartbroken. So leave it!
PS: If you have come this far reading my story, THANKS A LOT

I don't get many compliments directly, but I sometimes hear someone say This other person I talked to said you are cute/nice/awesome and it always makes me so happy that this is what others think about me and tell their friends.
I get more direct compliments on internet chats though, as the partial anonymity allows people to express more without having to talk to someone directly and they are also very dear to me, because I often see myself as not very attractive or special.

I get looks all the time, but they're 100% judgement. The only other thing it ever is is if I look familiar to them. But I get people giving me critical looks and people just make me feel even worse about myself. I know I'm not attractive. Everybody who sees me knows it. They could just be glad they don't look like I do.

This is a LOT of wishful thinking. While judging people by their appearance is wrong, it is an undeniable truth that some people are universally more attractive than others, which impacts everyone's life. All of the points you brought up are arbitrary and could just as easily be applied to unattractive people.

Im a guy with alot of mental disorders, not gonna name them unless someone asks, and i have such a problem with making eye contact with everyone, even my own mother, that i dont even know my closest friends eye color, i just assume its brown. Why am i just now realizing how depressing that is
reply

I just think I have a friendly face, I curl my hair so its very fluffy, and I wear a lot of hoodies. either that or I have a resting b face lol I did get asked out by a guy once but because he was kinda a class clown, plus me liking girls, I very quickly said no and just kinda moved on.

Me having nothing except receiving very few compliments. But when i receive them they feel like the only thing that has meaning in life and that i will forever be in debt to the person who said that my eye color is cool such is the life of people like me

You make these videos to bait people into a false sense of hopefulness when they are in a spiraling pit of despair, ultimately crushing them in the process. You help a small, select few while thousands upon thousands upon thousands more suffer.

You know what I think. Most people in the comments alter the way they recall certain experiences to match these eight subtle signs. Although I might be wrong, It might be just that's its a general placebo. That's some food for thought.

wow! i literally don't relate to any of these now my self esteem just hit rock bottom. now i understand that being complimented as pretty/beautiful most of the time are all just fabricated lies to make me feel good even tho it shouldnt

I am a strength athlete going on 15ish years in the gym. Body dysmorphia will make you think and feel a lot of things, despite what others say. This video helped me to nail down some of the doubts I had. Thanks

Numbers 1 through 7 had my confirmation bias in full swing. I was cherry picking data points left, right, and center. But number 8 did me in by reminding me that I've been single my whole life.

NO offense to anyone but I have all of these signs, PERSONALLY I don't find myself attractive like at all but everyone I'm around at school and in public do ALL of these things I'm shocked
reply

As a guy, Im not attracted to status on a girl, in other words I would be more attracted to a girl if she had no social media at all rather than being popular on social media
reply

I still have no clue. The only way for someone to apply these is from an outsiders perspective, otherwise they are going to bias themselves.
reply

People look at me cuz I shaved all my hair off for swim and look like a little goblin. Its not a sigh of attraction every time chief.
reply

reply

Me: I mean I have been told no one likes me if that's anything

reply

So true! I don't get complements because I'm AMAZING! They are so blinded by my beauty they have to look away.
reply

Mine one ear is bigger than the other one. I said to my friend. My ear is ugly. But friend said it's beautiful
reply

I can relate about people starring at me all the time I always thought it was because there was something wrong
reply

Sign 7 is a big one for me. Usually people are very mean to me for no reason at all or very nice to me.
reply

I'm somewhat not ugly but I wouldn't consider myself pretty. Just regular. I count that as a blessing.
