you mentioned how adhd and anxiety can co-occur, but one could also talk about how symptoms of adhd (especially if left untreated/undiagnosed) can cause anxiety as a coping mechanism.
It has happened for me, that because I'm often forgetting things, no matter how important they are, I developed alot of anxiety as a coping mechanism (even if unhealthy) because with anxiety it's having similar effect to adrenaline or doing tasks in the last minute it can make me remember/function better in short bursts as needed. Though again VERY unhealthy! but it makes it very complicated when trying to treat my anxiety, because I start to panic when my anxiety is adressed, because it means that the adhd symptoms are gonna be more prominent and more impactful on life, like impulsive spending, memory issues or loosing track of alot of things.
They do exist also despite the anxiety, but I know they could be much worse if the anxiety wasn't acting like barbed wire around it.

I havent been diagnosed with anxiety or ADHD, but I feel like theres a chance I might have one or both.
I have most of the symptoms, yet again I know this doesnt mean much. Ive had many issues sleeping, and Ive been fidgeting a lot with my fingers etc.
Im only eleven and its been hard to talk to people about these things happening in my life. I usually feel like they just wont understand, and then Ill break down in tears or something else.
With the pandemic mainly ruining my social life, Ive just felt blocked from the outside, and Im really struggling to get back.
I am hoping to get a therapist, or someone that can possibly help me.

I pace around the house can't sit still, I fidget alot do to anxiety, I stuttered my words and my grammar is mixed up like I have a speech impediment, I forget things easily, I lack focus and not paying attention what the person is saying, get depressed of the littlest things or minor mistakes that can last for months, and having insomnia.

Do You have Anxiety, ADHD or BOTH? :well i %200 have anxiety i will be up at 2: 00 thinking about how somebody will jump through my window and how i could defend myself if this were to happen, but ADHD is not out of the question knowing me and i could be up all night learning something thats useless, let me click on the video

No matter what I do no one believes me. I speak, I get silenced. At this point, I'm 99% sure I have ADHD as I relate to all the ADHD fragments and some anxiety fragments. Not only this video, but I've been researching for over a year and people still don't believe me. So I'm forced to call it a self-diagnosis.

Ive been thing for a while now and I relate to signs of anxiety. Ive looked at many videos and I relate to all of them. Im to scared to say anything about it though since I dont want to make anyone worry of make people think Im do this for attention. I might be over reacting about this though.

It's good to know that I'm not alone. I've been diagnosed with ADHD since third grade, and my worst struggles are overthinking things people say, looking back on the past negatively, thinking about very weird things in the moment when I'm with my friends, and hyper-impulsivity.

My family always told me I dont have ADHD or anxiety because my teachers always give me good reports and stuff like that but after watching this and taking almost every test that looks and are approved by doctors and stuff im 99. 9% sure I have both

I struggle to talk with other people I'm not familiar with. I remember I went to a place called Skate World once, I got so scared to just ask for my skates at the desk I just didn't get any.
I just never know what to say. People make it look so easy.

i have generalized anxiety and adhd. it runs in my family and im the third generation to have both. these things get worse when i'm under pressure like now and readings on mental health trigger my anxiety and make me over stimulated easily.

Me: its just ADHD. right?
My ADHD: yea its totally just me-
Anxiety, depression, and autism:
Yes I have been professionally diagnosed with all of then. I also have OCD but the other ones most commonly show up with ADHD

i think i 100% have rsd as i cannot ask people for simple things while in a room with 3+ people, in case of rejection. i think i have adhd, and mild anxiety. ive taken many adhd tests and all have come back with extreme adhd
reply

You made me more confused and now Im not sure if I have adhd cause my symptoms arent like in the vid and Ik have anxiety or my parents told me now Im not even sure if I should tell my parents I think I have adhd
reply

I really need to talk to a mental health proffessionall but I am way to scared and socially awkward to ask anyone. So I'll kust have to cope with it until I'm an adult or move out.
reply

Best way to cope with ADHD is learning to relax and not worry about things so much. I used to fear social rejection, now I've gotten to the point in life where I reject our society lol.
reply

Mind: I have both but no one would understand.
Sorry I spaced out!
Y/N: are you ok? You don't look ok.
I'm ok I'm just. I'm just tired that's all!
Y/N: okay?

reply

another medical bill is in the mailbox
My Fi/Si loop: Run away!
My ADHD: I gotcha, fam. erases the bill from my mind
Yeah, I can usually tell when it's both.

reply

ADHD runs in my family, and my mother has anxiety and thinks I do too. I have a life coach, and I haven't been diagnosed, but I do have a feeling it's both.
reply

This really makes me feel like I have anxiety but I cant see a mental health professional right now for multiple reasons so how can I deal with it on my own?
reply

When I was watching part three I noticed my heart was beating super fast and my hands where sweaty as she said that those where symptoms of anxiety.
