Have you ever heard, Oh my god, I woke up so antisocial, or I feel antisocial today, or Introverts are antisocial? What people mean is asocial. Antisocial are people whose behavior is detrimental to those around them. People with antisocial personality disorder continuously violate peoples rights without considering the consequences. They feel no remorse or guilt towards those affected by their actions. Antisocial in the world of psychology refers to a personality disorder called, Antisocial Personality Disorder and it is linked to sociopathy. It begins during childhood or early adolescence and extends into adulthood. We actually have a personality disorder crash course previously made here

Im dating a guy that has antisocial behavior gosh its sad I test him all the time throughout our relationship and hes a terrible person hes literally embarrassing and obviously they only point out the only bad things they hear and he mimics me only the bad things I point out to make me even madder and I just shut up and ignore him really hard because he needs to realize his own damn actions and he started to actually apologize which was never heard of. he has literally has told me in the past that he want to be the villain because he thinks theyre better and cooler so I blame his mom for messing him up that woman has no compassion in her at all if only it benefits her shes neglected her kids everyday just to drink straight vodka and sleep and thankfully hes survived he only has eczema all over his skin for taking showers everyday and his skin doesnt get no type of oils so its dry and cracked but I love that hes changed slightly every body in the building stays in their own rooms to avoid the mothers drunkenness and when shes back to normal she acts like nothing has happened and she constantly lies to her kids and so Ive told him a way to have better communication with her is to listen and agree to what she says and everything will go smoothly and just bite your tongue when you disagree because itll get worst and youre tryna avoid it and he told me I was right and now all of a sudden he wants to change for the better which Im not even mad about i actually love it he told me the other day I was perfect even though he doesnt say it like that he tells me In a different way and I appreciate the good changes I still check on him when hes on the wrong so he can see whos actually crossing the line.

I'm not sure how I feel about this video. it shows antisocial personality disorder in a really bad light and if I watched it without knowing anything about antisocial personality disorder I would have thought it meant that they are really bad manipulative people. I kept expecting her to say that not all people with this disorder are bad people but she never did. a lot of people dont realize that people with disorder are capable of being good people, and just because they dont feel empathy or guilt and maybe some other things like blaming others for their problems, it doesnt mean they are all manipulative and mean and doing bad things all the time. they can be good people and they can choose to be good, even if they have tendancies to do bad things. I know that she wasnt trying to say they were all bad people, but thats definitely what came across. and I really dotn think this video is helping the people with disorder, but just making it worse, especially since its so misunderstood already. I'm very dissapointed.

When you expose your talents, assets, special physical advantages and lifestyle to others, on social medias and in the real world. There will be four situations: Those who see you are four types of people: those who can be like you and have the lifestyle you have. Those who can't live like you, but they are carefree. Those who are not able to live the way you live and sink into depression and anxiety and stress without showing antisocial behavior. And the last group are those who see you and your exposed lifestyle and because it is not possible for them to live like you, they start showing antisocial behavior and criminal acts. In fact, this is the way the human mind and body work, and until you eliminate the main reason, no matter how many psychological programs and shows you launch or use coercive measures, judicial convictions and the use of billions of police, you will still not achieve anything. We are all responsible for everything that happens around us.

I would like to make a note, I was diagnosed at 18, my mother also was unable to feel empathy for others and was very abusive until I was eventually raised my religious grandmother. The biggest thing is we are unable to physically feel for other people, but it doesn't mean we don't know right from wrong. I tend to be impulsive and have anger issues but do note a lot of times I'm pretty good at remaining in control (after years of anger management therapy) I feel like we get a bad wrap because of TV we don't all go out looking to hurt others sometimes we don't realize what we did to hurt someone because we don't think about them.

A few of the toddlers and preschoolers I work with fit this description to the letter. All attempts to socialize them properly and teach them how to behave towards others doesn't stick and their parents are not able to handle them at home. Sadly these kids get kicked out of daycare programs or shuffled along to the next class with hope that as they age the mind will fix itself. One thing I find is common for children with these traits is parents with depression. Babies being raised by depressed parents are at a higher risk of developmental problems. Many childcare workers are also depressed or have anxiety disorders. It's just so sad

I was the only child for 18 years. My mother was overprotective. I live with my mother and my daughter at the same home living under her rules til 32. I always had jobs here and there and came back home. Rarely went out with friends cause of me liking being alone. Right now I am 40 and I see the more negative marks in leave in people unintentionally. I was always a rebel so I barely cry. I also learned that from my mother. Now I regret being who I am now. I want to be just a fu. normal person. I don't even like being popular or like by everyone. All I want is to be nice, respectfully and behaving like a f. human being.

What if your anti social because your aware of yourself and mental state going deep into a rabbit hole of searching for truth and answers to what is this place/realm, how did you get here, why are you here, what are you, and what is your purpose. When you get the answers you would be anti social too because everyone is going say your a crazy schizophrenic conspiracy theorist but the evidence of history, historical accounts, the buildings that cant be recreated, forgotten(suppressed)technology that contradicts the established history just reinforces my conclusion about this world

So my ex boyfriend told me that he has ADHD and was diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder HOWEVER as I have looked into this disorder and NPD he seems to have more of the Narc traits. How did 2 Psychiatrists misdiagnosis him so horribly?
Edit: as I have looked more and more into antisocial personality disorder (APD) from trusted therapist I have come to the conclusion that APD and covert narcissists are one in the same. EVERY TRAIT is found in both mental disorders

I would diagnose myself as jerk/ a$$hole. I'm mixture of aspd and asocial. I do feel love but it's not overpowering where I have to express it out loud and I do find myself in conflicts all the time. Many times I dream about being this nice guy who everyone likes but it seems like I always find the way to messed up. Maybe I'm on spectrum or maybe I'm fooling myself and I'm full aspd. If I'm aspd how can I really love my children so much?
reply

Aspd person here. Difficult to get help to it since people dont want to believe i have it. They dont want to believe i am somehow bad. But for a year or two ive been learning to follow certain social norms, altho most of them are weird and irrelevant to me. Being a person with aspd doesnt automatically mean im evil, edgy, sinister or violent. I just lack empathy which makes it easier to slip in ways that might hurt other people.
reply

I disagree with her opening statement. I have aspd and feel remorse and guilt 24/7. That's why I avoid any and all conversations no matter what it is and who it's with. And when we do finally talk we will manipulate the situation to either get it over with or gain something from it. It's not fair to suggest all of us feel no remorse. I've went months without speaking a word because I hate that I'm this way

my brother experiences a lot of things, and so do I, but my brother is trying to change, while Im just ignoring my problems instead of solving them. I probably have something else though, since I also experience a lot of symptoms of schizophrenia, paranoia and BPD. My mom wont let me seek some psychologist cuz she thinks my mental health just comes for the fact I dont move or go outside.
reply

yall need to stop saying no remorse thats really a dangerous way of looking at this disorder. we still think about the shit we did thats wrong and we often got other disorders that cause anxiety depression so Im dead ass tired of yall saying we feel nothing thats not the case with most ASPD patients. I could go way deeper but I shouldnt even have to be commenting this shit.
reply

Stigma stigma stigma.
Spreading harmful information.
Stigma kills.
You don't need empathy to be a good person.
This paints me as such horrible person I'm genuinely upset.
Antis personality is gentic
Anti social is environmental / chilldhood abuse related.
We can heal and change just like everyone else.
And there is more treatments than mentioned.

reply

Personality disorders is just a diagnosis and a term made up for individuals who had developmental delays in childhood. Trauma is a huge factor for all of these personality disorders. We need to be healthy adults in order to raise healthy children. Keep yourself in check and stop worrying about the dangers in other people and just be kind.
reply

What about a person who is wants to become a social hermit? What would the terminology be for that? Despite my internal desire to have fulfilling relationships, in reality most of the time I wish nothing more than to be free of human interaction, and dont really hang out with or interact with anyone on more than a surface level.
reply

yall need to stop villainizing people with ASPD, I got diagnosed and one thing I can say is every time someone was good to me I was good to them back and even when ppl are assholes I be tryna stay out the drama as much as possible. yall keep painting us like monsters im tired of it.
reply

Reminder:
In the majority we don't wanted to be like this, we don't feel guilt, but we know what is bad or good. And of course we don't want to be bad, the antisocial people are trying to be a better person, at least the ones who seek for help. Sorry for my bad English ahahah

reply

Kindly, please understand Antisocial disorder doesn't mean that one don't feel remorse. Psychopathy though. Antti social disorder does not equal being a bad parent. Rather, they -depending on the severity - react with anger against attacks (felt, or real) as a defence.
reply

I watched some of your ASPD videos, and I feel like you need videos that are intended for sociopaths to watch. You have videos for people with other mental disorders, but not ASPD. Not insulting you, but I'm just saying you need videos for sociopaths.
reply

DAMN! This whole time I just thought people were manipulative self serving assholes and thats why I avoid them. Turns out Im the problem apparently. Also, people hate other people who tell the truth no matter what. I enjoy being sigma and not caring.
reply

you can't be born with a specific psyche. human mind is like clay, some are well built into something good and some are usually built badly and broken by their guardians.
you can teach a human mind to be anything when they are young.

reply

Antisocial personality disorder are the failed experiments of social engineering, the uncontrollable minority who will simply not play by the rules, especially if those rules were created to control them in the first place.
reply

I know someone who has Anti-Social Personality Disorder (ASPD) and this video is 100% accurate, she does all those things and has most of the symptoms, but she is getting treatment and is doing a little better now!
