Intelligent people are gifted at analyzing concepts and building upon them to form a better understanding of the world and those around them, how everything is connected, and why things are the way they are. However, they are faced with certain problems and challenges that only they can relate to. Having said that, here are 8 struggles only highly intelligent people will understand

I don't care what you all think, just to state the obvious leads me to conclude many people looking at this have little or no personal development skills as discussed in this video.
I am having this major issue with my highly intelligent friendship human development problems big time, I am a multi-media artist. / Engineer, / maintenance technician/ dj music producer/ landscape designer and maintenance
Restaurant food development - bla bla bla -
Me
I search for information to back up my work.
On information like, The universe, new technology, new energy development, time, music, Tech - indi - cross over - play synth workstation, love raves, love anything alternative
Now everyone has become like sheep.
You can't say anything of substance you can have all of the latest in information on any specific subject but do you think most can handle it.
No Fi, c, #n way.
Its a massive struggle.
I have issues with the majority of people, because like you they think they know everything.
But have no back-up and have done little or no research into whatever discussion.
So we end up having a argument about how dumb and selfish and uncompassanate they have become.
Then if you get to meet anyone that is intelligent, its rhe total reverse situation. you get to express in full ability to develop and improve and those people can fill me in on there knowledge. because if i get told yet again. that its too heavy a conversation, and everyone running away from me because I had more than enough of most. they suck. .
Fact.
If you are intelligent.
Try finding a good friend now.
No one trusts anyone anymore.
Its also a struggle.
So end.
No one is supporting. onky they very few. Less is more. Turn my back.
And all who are running from my subjects and information.
Well it will find them all. only then they will understand.
Because they have no choice.
And everything i was saying was true. but its all to late. .
Everyone knows it all.
So turn my back on you all.
And watch what will happen here. .
Watch them all Put there heads in the sand.
And kiss your asses goodbye.
Because thats where we all heading.
And I don't give a shit.
Why should I.
. thanks so much for this video. i have sent it to a few close friends that i can trust.
Xxxx Grant.

I'm not gonna pretend like I'm some kind of genius, but I do like to think about things a lot. I'm not super duper smart, just a deep thinker, and some of these do apply to me, and some don't. But the one that hit me the hardest was the last one, not because it applies to me, but because of how much it doesn't, until I realized that it actually does apply to me more than any of the others. I watched it and tried to think back to any times where I was afraid of failure. The answer is pretty much never. Which is why I thought it didn't apply to me. And then I realized that I'm actually SO afraid of failure that I never actually try my hardest because not trying makes failure feel less scary. Well, of coarse I wasn't going to succeed, I wasn't really trying. I'm so afraid of not being good at something that I never truly push myself to be as good as I can at anything. This has led me to a life of constant boredom. I'm not depressed or anything, I'm actually a pretty happy person, I get excited and passionate easily, and overall love life, but I find myself so bored so often, and too afraid to ever push myself outside of my comfort zone too far to ever seek new stimuli. I feel stuck. Too bored to stay where I am, and too scared to move to something new. I hate change, actively avoid and fear it, but I feel so bored of things staying the same and I don't know what to do. I wish existing was enough. I wish I could just lay back and watch the world pass me by, never having to do anything, and at the same time, that sounds like a living nightmare. I wish not choosing was a choice. But that in it of itself is a paradox.

Number one resonated with me. My mates all want to discuss which girl is hotter on tv, watch love island, talk about the new balmain t shirt they just bought, shall we go out on the lash this weekend? Which car is best/fastest etc, wheras I'm sat there feeling like my mind has been thrown into an great expanse as I puzzle over human consciousness and what makes me, _me_ and thinking about the purpose - or lack thereof - of life and a hundred other fairly abstract things that my friends would find boring.
I also suffer from paralysis by analysis, I am always seeking out new stimulus, and it frustrates me that the majority in my friendship circle don't go through the same sleepless nights for being lost in thought.
Maybe this is my cue to start trying to find others who can relate to this as I am starting to get the strange feeling that I've been surrounding myself with people purely to fit in

Knowing something about something every property owner has in common with.
I know that no one knows. Yet Everyone deserves to know. What each owner chooses to do once knowing, is not up to me. The manner I went about communicating could make or break primary goal toward Best well informed decision Process.
That Something each And every one shares alike. Becoming new Tree owner.
And that something 110 out of 100 Blissfully unaware of? Every one hiring Landscapers to do yard work. Anyone self mulching.
Forces tree to grow unnatural Circling roots above artificially heightened ground.
Inevitably strangling trunk with Its own constricting roots.

You started the first 30 seconds of the video with a logical fallacy called: appeal to authority. I knew immediately I was smarter than both the writer and reader, but I was still curious about any insight you might have. I only found the typical nonsense and stereotypes. There's a large number of intellectuals who will endure small talk for many purposes. Also, being quiet is a trope, a truly intellectual person can make others think he's a fool or even be the life of the party. If you believe black and white ideology, you will never see the wool all around you.

Bizarrely enough, I can relate to a lot of these traits, but I admit I'm somewhere between this description and the description of someone with average intelligence; I can certainly relate to feeling bored when talking about very mundane things, in fact, that has been a persistent struggle, I suppose. I certainly wouldn't consider myself highly intelligent; to be frank. It does feel like some people may feel intimated, but trust me, I feel even more intimidated than they do, some of my friends are absolute Einsteins. (Sorry if that's a weird description)

I think the hardest bits are not having as many people to discuss things that are important to you (which they often find completely uninteresting / don't understand / deathly boring) and being expected to solve mundane arbitrary problems because oh, you're smart, you must know x - like yes, I know how to read, but no, I don't know how to do x with the latest social media platform - I would have to look at the page, click buttons, and read just like anyone else - and though I could probably read and understand it faster, I really, really don't want to.

I've always been a full A's student, I try not to brag about it tho.
I've been an extrovert ever since I was young, talking to everyone and making friends, but as I've grown older and the things I want to talk about are nothing like what my peers want to talk about. I feel like I've been isolating myself more and more during the past few years.
Now I feel like I don't know how to talk to people anymore, I could talk for ages but I have no idea how to start a conversation anymore, and no one starts it for me so I just feel even more alone.

Its cute that you think everyone intelligent works in academia and loves their work. Youre as likely to end up pushing a broom as studying anthropology. Your intelligence is only one factor in where you end up. Family, geography, wealth, dumb luck and timing all play at least as big a part. Ive known plenty of academics who I would class as moderately intelligent (generous in some cases) and lots of blue collar workers who were smarter, sharper and more able to express ideas and understand concepts.

Most shitty thing is jealousy. From almost everyone almost all time. If you have real bad luck - even your parents can treat you in that way. And thats really bad stuff, bcause its mixed with their constant need of authority. And no to feed that feeling they put more and more pressure and challenges around you. Not to, test you nor caring about improvement, but simply overwhelm to prove, you are not that smart. Jealousy is a worst cancer of humanity, it can destroy and kill unnoticeably.
reply

I can relate to everyone of these, except on one I agree with about 50%. I do feel pressure to perform from quite a few people, but I really don't let it bother me, I mean, I'm only one person, I can only do so much, is what I have to keep telling myself. So I just take days off as I want or need them, but not usually after about a month, month and a half's worth of straight working every day. I am my own boss, as a fix just about everything mechanic, and I actually kinda love it.

I used to work at two companies that made it so that customers ranked their favorite teacher. I never thought of myself as intelligent because I was always last place with my students. They always saw me as not good enough. I wonder if this why I always saw myself as not good enough. Because of this system, I walk away thinking and believing Im a bad teacher. It even makes me feeling hatred for being a teacher.
reply

If this is true than I am highly intelligent lmaoo. I constantly never raise my hand in class and continuously research and reflect because I'm so curious. When I do raise my hand it's often thought-provoking and one time actually made a professor backtrack on what he said and reflected on what I stated. It was kinda funny seeing it happen in real-time.
reply

Im curious, is it possible to have a high Eq along with IQ? It has to be possible, I personally always thought, whats the point of intelligence if you cant help those around you with it? It must be rarer since those with higher IQs care more about logic and results rather than feelings but it cant be impossible to be both. Anyone have any thoughts?
reply

I'm in the average category and probably slightly above average which means I can understand any any conversation and use it to my benefit.
Because the people that understand people don't understand ideas and the people that understand ideas don't understand people so they need a Middleman and a middle man makes all the rules.

reply

bro like I was the smartest student on math and when there was a test they all came to me and beg me to help and I was on a stress mode and they highly expected me that I was going to help them all and I was stressed that my nose stared to bleed then I stared to tell the people to their faces if I can help them
reply

Well, ya got most of 'em. There is noblesse oblige, and the fight for sanity until you find your own definitions.
Where does an intelligent person fit, when they can see the hypocrisy? Do y'all realize that most of our (English) language is based on deceit? Espanol, tambien.

reply

In school, almost everyone showing an interest in me was preceeded or followed by them asking me to help them with homework. It only stopped in 3rd year undergrad when we specialised to our own fields and I no longer had friends in the courses I attended.

Women have been taught, for generations, to make sure people think they're less intelligent than they are. This is just part of what being a woman in this society is. This video over generalises and diminishes the lived experience of women the world over.
reply

Is IQ really important? Is it possible to raise IQ? What does intelligence actually mean? Would it be possible for someone who wasn't born with any gifts or other such abilities to develop those abilities that come naturally to highly brilliant people?
reply

Yes I need intelligent people in my life.
Must be open-minded.
About reverse technology and development and multiple dimensional understanding, no religious belief.
Just believe in the impossible for the best of mankind.
Xxx

I don't relate to much of this stuff, but it drives me mad when I'm new to a subject and an unintelligent person is the gate keeper of the knowledge and they use their authority to hinder or occult my learning process. lol!
reply

If u that inteligent, then u should be capable of everything, including solving that problems. The thing is that it just doesn't work like that. So thx god u can see some stuff like this and be self awareness of your situation.
reply

I relate alot of this but idk if I am an 'intelligent' person. Like the top comment said The Average person think they are smarter than the average person and this is most likely true and idk how to mark myself
reply

This is a common problem today; because someone has a high level of intelligence in a particular field, the assumption is their intelligence is absolute and their opinion of any subject is treated as fact
