The feeling when every single friend of yours is being wanted /gets attention cause people think they're pretty but even they don't realise it and they hate the feeling of being wanted/attention. Even if it's your best friend you can't really talk about it. For a few days, weeks, even months you try being positive as much as you can. That you're enough. Its not your fault for not getting attention and every single thing to motivate you to continue the day. But at one point you feel like they just slapped in your face saying You're not good enough You automatically blame yourself for not being good enough but in reality you can't do anything about it but everyday feels like hell to go the same place surrounded by same people who gives attention to your friends And never you. I'm surrounded by people who don't want attention but gets them and myself who kinda wants it but never ever gets it. In the beginning I told myself everybody gets their own time and it's just their time to shine mine will be soon too. But now I feel like they keep shining brighter and brighter that my small light keeps getting weaker everyday. I tell myself I just want to be enough like not those popular ones but at least like my friends. But I can never be them right.

Knowledge is a free invention of the heart and of the mind itself! The only textbooks needed are the heart and the mind. The only exam to be written is the key to ponder into wonder. For the heart and the mind hold the key to the greatest diploma of all, the dreams creation of our imagination. For the heart and the mind are thus, the greatest teachers of us Believe in yourself! For you are their greatest student.
THIS BELONGS TO EVERY MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD Never give up your dream, no matter how far away it may seem to be, because that is when it is ever so close to becoming true. If you dream of something long enough and strong enough, your dream will come true, when you least expect it. Always remember, we are never too young or too old to dream and use our imagination, for we only get one and it is ours forever. May your heart be filled with courage and compassion, and your mind be as limitless and as wondrous as the universe itself! If you dream it, you can be it. Believe it!

I was chasing a woman for the better part of this year. She first approached me and i unfortunately wasnt in a good mindset mentally and emotionally, so I told her that she is very beautiful and I really like her but it wouldnt have been fair to her because my thoughts were still on my very fresh at the time ex girlfriend. I told her I needed time to heal. She accepted it and found someone else. Fast forward and her bf dumps her. I approach her this time, ready to give love another chance. She however wasnt. Sad at the missed opportunity, I wondered into depressing thoughts. Am I good enough? Will I ever be good enough? Im happy to say with a resounding yes. I am good enough. Im flawed. I could stand to lose a few lbs. Maybe sharpening up my mind with study and broadening my horizons are in order. But overall Im good enough. Thats all that matters. You are good enough too. Dont forget that.

Don't be afraid of making mistakes, they are our greatest lessons through life. When we learn from them, they become our greatest teachers through life and we become their greatest, lifelong student.
Always remember that mistakes are Hidden Teachers in discrete disguise. So don't ever be afraid of making mistakes; they always teach us something, while we unwittingly achieve closer to our accomplished goal.
It's because of mistakes that things are possible to achieve. It's because of mistakes that keep us at a humble stance, not getting careless or dangerous with the things we learn and do. Mistakes are very important byproducts of everything we venture into. The mistakes we make can lead to a far greater understanding and knowledge than we had ever anticipated. Imagine that?

I just need someone to talk to, man. My family keeps disgracing me and I know that it's true, yet when I put effort to change that, nothing changes. I always have the image of the sentence I'm insignificant appearing in my head every single time! I don't know who to talk to, I don't even know how to talk, I can't express what I'm feeling, it's there, but It's indescribable.
I just wanna be better, but being surrounded by better people is just bringing me down instead, especially if those people talk down on you.
I wanna solve this problem, but being incapable of describing what I feel is making it hard.

I have been trying so hard to overcome this thought that i am not good enough that i cant do it, that i have problems which wont let me do it but the real problem was that i was stuck on the past mistakes and i was in constant fear of what would happen in future because of the past expierences i have had. Turns out they were the root cause for me not being able to enjoy the present, they were the ones to stop me from learning at my full potential, your video calmed my heart down which never happened since like 8 months thanks Psych2Go i really apreciate your video

I don't know to whom should I talked this out. I am doing it here. We had our 10th grade result and i got 90. 80% which was so much for me and I was happy. We celebrated. My best friend got 95%. Offcourse I am happy for her but a part of me envy her. When she got congratulated by the teacher i felt somewhat bad. She was making her parents proud and i feel like i am not enough. I wanted to give my parents the proudness she is giving. My mom told me she expected more from me. I am feeling worst. Tbh i didn't know i would be even able to get 90%.

You are enough
Being a work in progress is great, it means you're progressing
The best of us are works in progress. It means constant improvement. There are no rule stating you need to have it all figured out. So keep learning and appreciate that progress means you are constanly getting better. Perfection is a myth. You may still have a long way to go but look at how far you have come. Take prude in yourself for making it this far, and make the most of where you are right now. All the best thing in life take time

I will have pride in myself if I can just achieve one thing in my life and that is to get a job. Im at the point where nothing else matters in my life anymore. I dont care that Im alone. I dont care that I have to spend the rest of my life in the male body. I dont care that. Im short and ugly. I dont care that I cant drive a car because Im visually impaired. I just want to job. How does someone feel good about themselves when they are literally living on the help of their landlord. I might as will be a child.
reply

Thank you for trying.
Maybe it's just because after decades of struggling and therapy, but I've heard all of these before, and when I'm depressed like I have been for the last several days, none of these helped.
Some of them did not help because they are not relevant to my situation and viewpoint.
Some of them did not help because I find them unrealistically optimistic.
Oh, well.

If you keep failing despite giving everything, if no one wants to be your friend, if no one wants to marry you, if no one wants to hire you, if no one one gives a fu about you, the universe is telling you that you are definitely not good enough. Take the hint, swallow hard, and live with knowing that you just aren't as good as you thought you were. It happens. We can't all be winners.

I was crying when i heard this sentence, you matter because I always thought that I dont matter since no one wanted me, and all the things my mom told me was only because she was my mom, and it's normal, but I think its about time to start realising that:
1- Not everyone hates you
2- Being comfortable to yourself presents the worst loneliness

reply

I have RSD and its so hard. Especially when over and over again you see so much that proves your horrible thoughts to yourself.
I will say thank you for this video though. I have saved it to watch regularly. I do hope one day more of this will feel true to me. I am trying, but it is so hard to convince myself of many of these.

reply

I dont know, even after watching this, I still dont feel good enough, I feel like I have nothing going for me because I feel I have nothing to offer. I dont know if Im enough because others are doing it better and are making an impact unlike me. What Im saying is others are deserving of respect for what they do unlike me.
reply

I've never done a damn thing successfully in my whole life. I cannot possibly be liked by anyone on earth, I don't have a single positive traits, no talents, no charm at all. I'm not trying to bring others down. I just wish I weren't me, I hate being trapped as my worthless self. I was I were born as someone that has value.
reply

i was crying this morning, i think like I'm not good enough for my parents but i had to heal that. i had to change my mindset that it's okay to cry you are not weak, you have to make your sadness as your process and lessons.
because whenever you want to get better person there's many think you have to pass

reply

I am never gonna be good enough for anyone because every time I try to do anything for anyone they hate me I should just care about myself and hate them all back for not being good enough for them because I'm good enough for myself just not my friends and family so I wish they would just leave me alone forever
reply

I get where this is coming from, I think it's true for a lot of young people who haven't fully developed or found themselves yet. Those my age who have proven no real value need to either fade away or support those who have value. Love should never be wasted on the unworthy, even if that's ourselves.
reply

I'm working towards 3/4 of a century in age. All the thing I should have done I didn't. At this time in my life there is not much left. Yes I have developed a why bother attitude, picking up where I left off won't get me anywhere but more regret about what I didn't do.
reply

We all try to improve.
We all try to overcome.
Thats when we think.
We are not good enough.
We compare us to other people, and they compare you to them.
And when you know youre not as good as them,
we all think we are
Not Good Enough.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side. The reality is, the grass is rarely greener on the other side, but it is always greener where you choose to water. Take care of your own grass. And before you know it, it'll greener your side.
reply

but i dont make progress; i am still not good enough for my loved persons; i always tell ppl to be proud of their selves; i might seem so happy, but deep inside me, i cant be confident and i am insecure about everything in me
