i've been hurt 3 times and been chucked into the friendzone 1) my ex boyfriend, 2) someone who I dated 3) meeting up. In the beginning, they say they want to do this and that, in the end they want to stay friends with tme, 2nd and 3rd boys they know about my past relationship with me ex of how he treated me and they knew that I have autism. I have been single for almost 2 years, these boys were last year and at the moment im thinking about myself sometimes in my mindset I feel like I dont think anyone who approach because I have autism, not attractive and r word. Being in a friendzone makes me feel sick because those I had in the past were lying to me and I can tell if someone is lying to me and I dont see myself being friends with them. Every time I think about relationships or someone mentioning relationships I do break down into tears because I have been really hurt, I feel like no one will find me because I am some strange thing.
Now i've moved on and im over it, I am putting myself first before anything. If someone wants to be with me make sure they understand boundaries and respect and treat me like a princess.

But at the time I was given bad advice: I was told that if shes interested in me let her make the first move because if she doesnt like you that way youll ruin the friendship.
So now Im suffering from an awful crush over this person. The way I feel now it mightve been worth it losing a friend. Maybe. Im not sure because I have my doubts it wouldve worked out because Im a lot older than her. 24 years to be exact.

Yes I call myself the friend zone king. Im 38 years old single never dated. All the women in my life have always told me oh youre a great friend or youre like a brother to me. Then we stop communicating or I have just let it be this way. Seeing that my friends mainly are married with kids now and living the family life I tend to spend my time working and being externally lonely. I work crazy hours to help me try to take my mind off of this I dont like to think about or feel. I work 7 days a week anywhere from 8 to 12 hours a day if not more. That is anywhere from 56 hours a week to 84 hours a week if not more depending on the week. Then I would just go home eat wash up and go to sleep repeat. I really would eventually like to change that because it is making me super tired and depressed.

The first and most important reason is: the person you want to be with DOESN'T Find. You. Attractive. That's it, there is nothing wrong with your personality, nothing wrong with your gestures or how you act with that person, it's just that they don't have physical attraction towards you.

With regards to #8 - it's important to note that you should still let the person know your feelings for them early on, rather than posing as just a friend because they might reject you. It's better to just let it be known and have your offer on the table. It will be much less awkward to start a relationship if they do end up changing their mind, since they've known about your feelings from the beginning.

I simply cant see romance as the foundation of a healthy relationship. Its maybe cool to hit up but in my experience that feeling pasts away just like every other feeling. I think Id rather stay in a healthy friendzone then to be in an unhealthy relationship.
