I have this reoccurring dream of my bedroom in my old house. I'm only a teen so it's not exactly my childhood home but I spent most of my earlier life there so I'll just call it that. This dream is oddly vivid, more vivid than any other (I remember this one way more than others too. All that it is is just me sitting on my bed, my brother's bed on the other side of the room because we used to share a room, and the closet, TV, dresser, and door in my view. Nothing else would be in the room which is strange cause I always remembered our room being cluttered. The doorway in my dream always had tiny nails sticking up from the floor (the nails, in reality, were to hold the carpet in place) and they always seemed to be a bit bigger than what I remembered them to be and seemed to be a bit hazy. The feeling of the dream always gave of this longing, nostalgic feeling, and even a bit of dread and bitterness. I don't know why I have this dream, but every time I do, when I think about it, I get an image of our bathtub, blood running down the white wall from my scratched elbow (this memory was from when my brother slammed my arm against the tub wall, at least from what I remember happening. We were like 6 at the time btw.
I get really confused when thinking about this and frustrated that I can't figure out why I keep having this reoccurring dream. As someone who tries to find an explanation for everything, this keeps my mind racing through possible answers but none have made much sense.
I do have one answer that might explain my dream a bit. I think, despite being the go with the flow type of person, I can't let go of the past. At least, my subconscious can't. I think this because I have other vivid dreams like dreaming of someone that I would consider to be my childhood lover and other people and places from my past (can't think of any more. There also seems to be a shadowy silhouette of someone in almost all of my dreams, I can never tell who is it because my memories are often missing key details and hazy.
Didn't mean to write a four-page essay but I can't exactly summarize this much more lol anyway whoever bothered to read all this, tell me your thoughts cause I need some clarification.

Since I'm a toddler the only dream I got is nightmares
(besides 2 weird dreams I had) although I have dreams like only 3 or more times a year
The content of it always the same
- Getting chased by something terrifying
-I'm always in somewhere dark
My dreams in 2021 is
1st (Forgot the date) - in a dark hospital with barely any light source, got chased by a tall woman with spike all over her body, I ran out to the car park and hide, she found me and then I wake up
2nd (26/2/2021) stuck in a building, the dream is long, from taking an elevator to a floor to ended up in a mold covered wall green hallway with dim light, the other side of the hallway is another elevator, 2 strange man in it, took the elevator just to end up at the same floor where I started, went up the stairs since screw elevators, got chased by something, saw a face behind a door, reached the floor I wanted to go. Dream ends
3rd - started in a village that I did not know, got chased by a bunch of monsters, got in a house to hide just to find some more monster in it, ran out to the road outside off the village, ran for a while, got caught, wake up
That's all I can remember since its been ages

A lot of the dreams I remember are usually about liminal spaces
Nostalgic yet unfamiliar
Made by man but it feels as it was always there
Stuff like a prison in the sky
A mall in outer space
A planet made entirely of road bridges
I guess the prison in the sky would be feelings of confinement when I'm told I'm as free as a bird.
The road bridge planet could mean something about society
Sometimes when I was awake and one of my parents would take me to their workplace after one of my sick days so I guess my brain associates the road bridges planet as how the world made itself dependent upon money.
I don't know what the Mall in Space dream would mean.

I had this dream where i woke up in a black room that seems to go on indefinitely although it does seem like there was a black light coming from somewhere as i could still see but it is not illuminating my surroundings.
I then started walking in the direction directly infront of me as it seem most logical. After some time of going strait and finding nothing i feel a sharp pain all over my body but especially on my back, it felt as though my body was being melted away but there was no physical damage. That was except for the skin above my spinal cord wich i could feel crack open. Next it felt like something was leaving by body and taking me with it, and then i woke up.

One dream event I've had before is like a room is full of jellyfish, typically in the living room in the house I currently live in. I've never had jellyfish show up in like the triplex I used to live in, my grandma's house, or even school. From what I've heard, it's a sign of bad memories. I guess I might have bad memories that have happened in the living room that I don't remember?
I dunno if this has any meaning, but another event is my house (or my grandma's house) being full of thousands of bugs. Crawling, flying, all bugs. And there's no escape. I'm very much scared of bugs so I guess when this happens I'm having a nightmare rather than a dream.

There was this one dream that i had multiple times. Each time i had this dream it went a little further into the dream. And During the time that i was having the dream frequently, i had it about twice a week. Each time i would dream it one of my friends would die because i couldn't save them. We were all on a school field trip. We got lost from our cabins and were walking around in this jungle. Oh and people who weren't my friend were also in my dream and would die. Each time i had the dream one person would die. And the very last time i had the dream they all died. just wanted to share cause i find the dream interesting.

Thanks to you I remember a dream I have forgotten. About a secret door. So thank you. I have more than 30+ dreams last year. And I remember each one of them with minute details I never dream that much before, only some precognition dreams to help me make decisions, severe warnings and some good news coming my way in reality. I still dream many kind of strangers. Men, women, and children. Sometimes in group, sometimes just one-on-one. I don't recognize them at all. The point is I almost never be alone in my dreams. I love my dreams even if it's bad ones. It's a reflection and a warning for me so a win-win situation: )

Why I have a dream that i'm the one who is destroying my teeth? Like I'm biting my upper tooth by my lower tooth, like I'm pulling it down. What does that mean? I only dreamd losing my teeth once in my one week dreaming of destroying my own teeth, so when I dreamed about losing my teeth, and for the next night I will dream pulling my upper teeth again with my lower teeth, I have the idea of not getting aggressive pulling it, so it won't happen losing actual teeth again, but the feels in my dream about pulling your upper teeth with your lower teeth really feels weird and so panicking.

I remember this dream I had as a child where I climed into this pickup truck and started the engine but I couldnt turn it off. I got scared and got out but stopped in front of the truck. The turn signals flashed as it slowly backed away. It turned as it backed out onto the street and drove off by it's self. It would later come by and stop for a moment were ever I was and when I would cross the street and it was coming, it would stop and let me cross. It was like I had given it life. It would often chace those who have done me wrong like it was protecting me.

I have dreamt off my childhood home many many times since I was a child. And every single time its terrifyingly haunted. So now when I dream of my childhood home I avoid going in. I actually run away from it and some obstacle gets in my way. If I go through the woods the woods go on forever, if I go towards town the road suddenly becomes too steep, and if I try to leave the town my vehicle turns into a toy. Yeah so needless to say my childhood home is not a place I wish to visit ever again.

Unnie, your voice is a blessing! It helps me to reduce stresses and depression. I would support you till my last breath. Whenever, I'm sad/stressed/depressed I always likes to hear you. I had never get bored by hearing your angelic voice and watching your cute animations. Actually, you're the one who never makes me passed out. I'm 11 & I'm fully insecure from my childhood. But you always succeed to make proud for my existence. I wish one day, I could meet you. Love you, Sis!

So if someone could help me with this. Ive been having this same dream for a couple of weeks. Basically I'm in school, and I raise my hand to answer the question. The teacher calls on me but when I go to talk no words come out. The floor opens and I get sucked in to a black hold. I land in my school chair again and it's starts over and over again until I wake up, usually only a couple times. What do you think this means?

great video! made me think about a recurring theme of dreams that i have from time to time where i just steal food from other people, without me controlling myself. what's worse is that they just let me even though they're hungry and i'll just feel like an absolute jerk. I usually share my food so this is just the opposite of what i do outside of dreamworld. perhaps its because im hungry irl and it manifests in my dreams?

for whatever reason, I dream about my boyfriend's friend all the time and we've never said a word to each other. I had gov with him and sat with him but during group discussions we never talked. i felt the vibe between us kind of tense and a bit nervous, maybe shy? we switched into econ a couple weeks ago and now we sit across from each other and i've caught him looking at me during our group discussions.

I remember most of my dreams. My dreams are magical, educational, mysterious, and even me discovering/doing a great thing, like going into the Mariana Trench. I don't quite know what it means. One thing I've noticed, though. Whenever I have a dream in which I feel angry, I wake up angry. Or if I had just accomplished something magnificent, I wake up feeling motivated. What does this mean?

My dreams are too random to fit anything. It was last night I dreamed I went to South Africa to buy some aircraft carriers before the world ended and I had to run around with my friends scavenging food and saving celebrities from music machines full of food before the world unended and we wound up having to put everything back and my family painted my nails against my will.

Its been more than a year I've been dreaming of all the things that have no story at all. I can't understand anything I dreamt cos I see many things or some people but it doesn't mean anything, I can't relate anything and I often forget what I dreamt. Also I dream almost every night.
You have any idea about it?
Dreams with no story or meaning at all!

This wasnt recent but about 4 years ago I had like 2 dreams of getting shot then dying, one of them I was trying to protect myself, the other one I was trying to protect my parents and brothers, I also had another one of me watching someone burn the house my parents and brothers were in. Did this mean something? I never told anyone about the dreams I had.

In my dreams Im typically on some sort of adventure. Sometimes my crush is involved, sometimes not. Sometimes my friends are in them too. As for the interpretation, Im pretty sure I just have an overactive imagination that loves conjuring entertaining dreams. Im not complaining. These dreams are why I love sleeping.

I keep dreaming about my childhood home. I guess it's true because I still haven't solved problem with my dad. The more weird one I have often is that I have to save grana who died away 11 years ago and we were flying on a huge bird, even though I have angst of birds. don't know what that means. Any ideas?

My most comum dreams are:
- getting lost
- missing the bus
- driving and crushing my car
- getting late to an appointment
The rest of my dreams are just me doing random stuff with random people that Ive never met, that dont exist or that I dont talk to.

All throughout my life, most of my dreams involve water. Water in all its forms somehow manifest in my dreams. Calm, turbulent, clear, muddy, dripping, soothing, cooling, raining, as oceans, lakes, rivers, floods, pools, puddles. you name it, I have dreamed it.

I had a dream where I was in my bed in my dark room about to go to sleep when suddenly my friend's two cats were there, but their eyes were pitch white and their mouths were gaping with small sharp teeth and their meows sounded drawn out and terrifying.

lately I've been dreaming about my school friends, they mostly all take place in a school or a park. sometimes I don't want to wake up because it feels so real that I don't want it to stop. it almost been a year since i last saw them. i really miss them.
