My crush sat next to me in a crowd and I just mentally withdrew and ignored her presence. I was thinking of something to say for that brief moment but I think my lack of any acknowledgement led her to sit elsewhere. leaving me afterwards feeling like I missed out on a big opportunity to express myself.
Every time we do get to talk to each other, I try to match her energy but I'm just not used to beaming out so much good vibes and I run out of mental computational power fast. She's a supremely talent artist, so any time she has her artbooks out, I always try to talk to her about what she's drawing because it's fun to understand that side of her. She really appreciates my ability to pick out details in her art and understand underlying themes at a glance.
We connect well on things we share interests on, although my inherent awkwardness and hesitations has made it hard to express my inner passion and interest towards her.

(For context before i start this story, I am apart of a DID system and I am poly) My system recently asked out two other systems we were attracted too and interested in, I just started to realize things we did (subconsciously) that were mentioned in this video, for example being anxious to be too touchy (my love language is touch) or trying to always be facing them, we often play minecraft together and I've noticed I subconsciously will always keep them in my line of view, and a few other things, ngl wish we had watched this a few weeks prior (they said yes btw for anyone wondering, the three of us are now in a poly relationship)

A lot of the comments I see are very disappointing. Some of you need therapy and learn to love yourself and open up more. Why would you be mean, negative or avoid someone you're infatuated with or crushing on. That is so elementary and childish. There is so much going on in the world that is negative or evil why would you feed on to it. We need love to spread on this world. When you see that person you like or love. Give them the biggest brightest smile. Give them compliments. Encourage them in someway, if they're down. Try to be nice to people it doesn't take much.

Expecially the closed body part. Having an open body to me means easier to move to any given position, while closed is more relaxing (small spaces go brrr) and harder to use reflexes to defend myself as i have to unwrap myself first. So instead of opening more, im usually open for everyone and close for someone i like

Hes fine around other girls bc he hates them but he likes me and is happy to talk to me, he gets kind of all quiet and shy when talking to me when he is really extroverted. Ive caught him looking at me in class and sometimes we just have eye contact for like 5 seconds. When we do look at each other we usually smile. I think hes into me (I really hope so) so Im gonna confess in July and hope he feels the same way, wish me luck!

I know guys think were being shy, but if we turn our bodies away from them, legs, knees, hips, boobs etc then we find them unattractive or dislike them. Even if a girl is shy she will face her body to the people she likes, its a natural in built thing that we all do. It doesnt necessarily mean she likes him romantically if she does it but if shes not doing it then theres nothing there.
