well Im watching this video right after a sleep paralysis but I actually enjoy this experience because it is such a unreal experience wehere you find yourself in situations or places you bin before but scarier and more unusual even abnormal. But it is quit interesting to have a sleep paralysis with the knowledge that you have one so you can more learn about them and sometimes learn more about yourself. Me personally I have these since a year and I figured one think out that in my case sleep paralysis happens in a kind of a dream where situations or feelings are not right or unusual and then I got to sleep in the dream and that is always the trigger for the paralysis to happen. For example before I watched this video out of interest I had a sleep paralysis experience, but it was diffrent than others because this time it was based on my hearing and sound in generell so I felt and heard every single wind blast it really didnt matter hoe tiny it was but I felt it in and on my body everywhere aswell as a sound with every blast like a second of a song, so I thought that Im probably cold and Ive put on a blanket and layd down on my back and started to sleep again but I was already asleep. Then a fell asleep in the dream and I had a dream in the dream kinda crazy when you think about this but anyways, I had a dream about a location that was very familiar to my it was the depot from destiny 1 a video game. So there I was these wind blastes were still there but now they were pretty chill and cosy as well the sounds than I saw a Lady dancing in a Building (still in the depot, I was walking up to her and as soon I reached her a song came up but there was like only one word that she sang that word was maniac than out of nowhere she started dancing really close to me I was able to smell her to feel her it went down from head to her thighs but as soon I reached the thighs this song became louder kindof like with a overdrive and the word aswell it was like maaaaaaaaaaniiiaaaaaaac really long but it was so real. Then I woke up (still in the first dream) I still heard the song or now these loud sounds it was banging my head my ears started to hurt and out of nowhere my phone started ringing aswell. My head completely broken and my ears with a tinitus I was not able to understand so first of all I wanted to look at my phone but I wasnt able to move then I realized what happend it was a sleep paralysis so I closed my eyes relaxed my body and everything was back to normal.
I also got a conclusion how sleep paralysis work well in my case. 1. you start dreaming but you are awake in your dream with all your conscious, 2. strange things happen that are typical unusual or abnormal, 3. you go to sleep im your dream to prevent all this,
4. same thing you start dreaming crazy stuff,
5. you realize it is not normal or you have fear and you wake up,
6. you only wake up insinde of your dream,
7. and lastly the sleep paralysis starts and for me it typicaly starts with something that for example my phone is ringing to show me that I cant move and to put me in fear.
After these seven steps it is really important to close your eyes and try to relax or even hold your breath for a couple seconds that your physical body wakes up so your out of the dream. I hoped I could help you guys maybe with my experience and maybe you also found interest in this. good night guys sleep well and dont fear them demons.

scariest sp moment i had i went to bed on my living room couch. when the sp took effect i saw my basement door creek open, then started hearing a mans voice mumbling words i couldnt make out in a calm tone which slowly got louder and more hostile/aggressive sounding. The voice suddenly stopped and then the blanket on me slowly lifted up in the shape of an adult sized human (like someone hiding under the blanket) sitting right on top of me. I couldnt do a thing about it and because that was only my second experience with sp, during that experience it felt like pure 100% reality, real life. years ago I came so incredibly close to drowning in a river which scared me to the point that i havent even swam in a pool since yet that sp experience was so intensely scarier than literally nearly dying in a river. sp is no joke. After that sp night i probably stayed up for 3 days to avoid that possibility of another experience. absolutely terrifying thing to go thru.

I'm currently 21 years old and I experienced sleep paralysis probably 6-7 times I'm to the point where I I normally just chill or super horny either way I'm cool with the outcome I'm fully aware of what I'm experiencing and regardless of what scary thoughts creep through my head I'm always excited
To actually see such a entity but today was my weirdest experience I was being little spooned by a heavy breathing demon and I was absolutely terrified it felt like hell I'd rather deal with the damn stalking eyes from the cracks on my door and the worst part yet I couldn't break out this one was strong not terrified but me being horny absolutely was not effective in this situation 2/10 would not recommend being little spooned by demonic entity

Just woke up from one of the worst sp ive had so far its only began a few months ago and is getting worse i was listening to a meditation to help me fall asleep and so i had one headphone in i then begin to here this loud ringing in my ear wich is a sign that i know im going into it and it felt as if someone was sat on my chest and ripping my mouth open but at the same time the meditation person who was speaking voice started to get deeper and turn sort of demon like wich is very weird, anyway after i calmed down a bit i was free from it not struggling is the best tip and thanks for this advice i also have bever let my eyes wander and hopefully i wont feed into my curiosity because i dont want to know what ill see haha

I've had it so many times I'm not scared usually of what I see during the nightmare. The reason why it still gets me everytime is because I can't control my breathing. I breathe very slow and it sometimes even slows down, given that I have anxiety & usually get panic attacks from feeling shortness of breath always makes it hell.
I've tried so many times to speed up my breathing or concentrate all my energy into my fingertips to move them. As several people said it helps them to wake up. I've only ever been able to move my fingers once and it didn't help. So it's like. I always have to wait until it's over

Ive had one SP so far and Im 16 (almost 17) and it was the scariest thing Ive experienced. It felt like someone was watching me so my eyes opened, then I saw this tall man with black clothes and a hat standing beside my bed. He is around 2 meters so he was like hung over me so his face were right over mine, the scariest thing is that he doesnt even have a face, its just black, but you can feel his eyes staring at you and not once looking away.
In the video they say to not focus on the visions but I couldnt look away, move or speak. I just thought of my grandpa and that he needed to help me and it worked.

I just had my first sleep paralysis. I knew what it was but I couldn't understand it. my sleep rhythm was very messed up I think that's why I experienced it. I felt it coming as I fell asleep, I opened my eyes and tried to get up, but I couldn't. I panicked and wanted to scream really loud, but I couldn't. at this point I realized I had sleep paralysis. i told myself i really need to wake up and was fighting to make even a little noise, and all of a sudden i was standing up screaming really loud in my room and it was over. luckily I didn't see any monsters, but I still panicked. this was my story

I think I had a sleep paralysis episode last night. It was late, probably around 2 or 3 in the morning. I could move my neck and fingers, but not the rest of my body. I knew it was real life because I felt drowsy, like I always did when I wake up. There was a shadow figure sitting on the edge of my bed. I felt its weight pushing down. It kept snapping its fingers. Then, this sounds weird, it started tickling my legs. Usually, tickling doesnt feel so bad for me. This ticking felt agonizing, painful even. I couldnt move my legs out of the way and I couldnt talk. The shadow kept tickling and laughing.

I guess I might have something worse than sleep paralysis. I have never seen any demons or monsters. But I can always feel someone is near me. Unlike most people I am able to forcefully move my arm in that episode and I can also make sound even tho it's not as loud as I want it to be but I am able to scream (but not loud lol) or call for help. No one will hear my unless you are sitting or lying next to me. I also never felt as if I couldn't breathe out felt like I was being chocked nor felt as if someone was sitting on my chest. Maybe because I always sleep on my side.

I remember one time i was 5 yrs old and had sleep paralysis in the morning but it wasn't even scary all i thought about is i want mcdonalds and then some smurfs or some people said HERE'S YOUR MCDONALD'S HERE'S YOUR MCDONALD'S alotta times and bcs it was loud i litterally woke up and went to my dad's room and then my left eye is still experiencing a dream and my right one is seing my dad's room.
I kept my imaginations far from bad and terryfiying creatures. hint: look away from the monster and think of something good pray and you will be fine, hope this helped!

Okay the other day I was sleeping in an abandoned house because my family locked me out right and I was drunk so I fell asleep on the bed I put in there and I had a dream that a naked woman got in the bed with me a naked dead woman you could tell she was dead so I shot awake and whatever was there was holding me still and wouldn't let me up swear wouldn't let me up for a whole 30 seconds I was fighting and thrashing still wouldn't let me up eventually whatever it was let me go but I was terrified and started praying to God right then and there

I want to share several things that worked for me. Never sleep on your back. Keep your eyes closed. Don't get panicked. Once it tried to fight back the moster. I tried to punch it with my fist. I collected all my will power and focused on my fist. I think i almost hit him. Then it faded away and i woke up punching in the air. Since then i don't see any scary monsters in my dream now im fully aware that it's just a dream and i shouldn't be worried about it. I just close my eyes and fell back to sleep.

As someone who has encountered over 40 years, the more human ones you should pay attention to, the totally unhuman ones. just ignore their rantings as they strangle you. 2 nights ago I had the worst type of encounter where you have to manage the sleep demon while having medical machines beep far too slowly. oh and they are really beeping and you can watch vitals lower. I came here for the lolz, you did not disappoint by saying this stuff is no big deal.

Yes I have been suffering from sp for a lot of years. Ive even hallucinated my deceased dad with a rope round his neck how he originally died. He killed himself. Ive hallucinated Demons an attack of mine from the past. I felt Demons on me. I am no longer fearful of this. I can turn SP into lucid dreaming and I get euphoric. I say its a gift, not a nightmare

My therapist told me to say out loud before bed I am going to sleep well and have good dreams and no sleep paralysis. I am going to wake up happy and energized. I am going to sleep peacefully. I thought it was dumb so it took awhile for me to do it eventually I was so desperate I tried it and the sleep paralysis finally stopped. Antidepressants can help too

A good imagination when I see a shadow cloaked figure approaching me from 15 feet away, then gets to close and charges me, and I punch something in me sleep and instantly wake up. It happens to me 1 to 2 times a night for the last 2 months. Because of it, I'm averaging 4 hours of sleep working 14 hrs a day Monday thru Fri. Am miserable!

People who suffer trauma over and over do not panic. If you panic from this, you just need a few more decades of it. It is a never ending cycle that results in near fearlessness as each situation desensitizes you, like being abused as a child, exactly like that I can say from first hand experience.

I've always have the gift of lying on my side while expiriencing so ive never seen something but i have felt and heard things coming from my back like breath on my face and something touching my hands or hearing footsteps going back and forth. Maintaining a slow and deep breath helps me always

Suffered with this for years, minus any of the creepy hallucinations. P2G's best advice is to focus on wiggling your little toe. Snaps me out in under a minute. Also the comment about getting up for water, using the bathroom, etc so you don't fall asleep in the same position again is spot on.

I was chatting with a girl who had some woman scream in her ear or smth, then some other woman read her a prayer, and she wrote it to prevent it, smth like that. Ive seen silhouettes, mb some noise, only worst part that ive trouble breathing, so i force myself out to wake up
reply

Ive had this my whole life, but much much less in grown adulthood. Knowing that the visions arent real is essential. Quick movements to wake yourself up is a great idea too, I used to move my hand in slow motion to fishhook my lip and pull to the side to wake me out of it

I experience sleep paralysis and more recently exploding head syndrome and all I can say is, as I got less scared of sleep paralysis, its adapted over time. So now I dont get intruder or pressure hallucinations, I get full on dragged from my bed type hallucinations instead.

I get sleep paralysis But Have worked out if you concentrate on the energy in your body and try to move it around whatever you move it to you can move straight away. It sounds weird but anyone suffering from Sleep paralysis try it the next time it happens it works for me
reply

Pls here is my best tip: close your eyes tightly forcelly then don't even try to move. use your eyes since you can only move your eyes
