Does it make sense to think that I'm smart but not intelligent? I know, they're practically synonyms, but still. Just because I'm good in school, get good grades, teachers like me, and I sometimes know words that you don't understand (despite about half of them being pretty basic words) doesn't mean I am The smartest person in the school. There are 100% smarter people than me. I'd say that my friend is smarter than me, she just doesn't talk as much as me (but she does laugh a lot. I also have another friend who just moved away, and she was also definitely smarter than me. I'm just more vocal, so other students think I'm sOoOoOoOo smart.

This makes me feel better with ADHD and Autism. I have been told by family and friends my IQ was pretty high, I just procrastinated a lot but I thought that just meant I'm completely dumb. But I did relate to almost all of the signs. I am very very curious, I am pretty open minded usually, I'm the definition of messy, I'm pretty good at being myself, I talk to myself a lot, not too sure about being funny. I don't think I'm super intelligent but it still helped me understand myself better.

Yes, yes and yes! I relate so much to all of this. I've heard comments from adults about my intelligence, but I would usually take it in an angry way, as if they were trying to cheer me up. And about the messiness, I think this video just helped me to realise as to why do I like lots of messy gardens, rooms so much. They are full of ideas and colours! Thanks so much for this. Weird to be intelligence, it's mostly pain from overthinking, but I gusss it's a good personality trait

I have been studying intelligence. People keep telling me that I am smart and I just do not see it. Some similarities between your videos and others if not all the content I noticed that being messy was a common sign and doubting that you are smart is another similarity. My question would be is asking the question am I smart coming from a place of insecurity?

Well i cheak evry box, and is call inteligent by others around me.
I think my issue tho is my ADD is
messing with my cognitive funktion.
Well i hope my new plan will work,
I will sleep on my school to not break the train of thougts and study homework and what the teachers have given us that day.
I did clear gymnasium on this method.

I can relate to all but the messy room. I can't study sometimes until it feels clean. My mind wants to fold the laundry instead of homework or make sure my gerbil cage is clean before drawing to relax. It makes me happy seeing my clothes organized by color and in the end I am more relaxed and focused when I know I'm in a clean environment doing work.

Until a year ago I was soo underconfident that I always told myself 'I'm average'. Now I accept that I'm inteligent but I have yet to learn soo much and I can't just win always with talent only, I have to put in the hard work to win

Everything here. People even thought I was a nerd because I was so good and since daycare. Now I just spend school making videos and looking at Twitter on a zoom meeting with my classroom. So I dunno what Im doing anymore. For some reason I still get straight As.

I've found talking to myself to be my therapy. With whatever is bothering me, I talk about it as if I was with someone else, but it's just me. It allows me to listen to myself, and dig deep into my consciousness, and I sometimes find out the root of my problem.

As i like to say. im smart enough to know im not smart
what it means is that when people are really dumb they dont know they are dumb because they are to dumb to comprehend what being intelligent is like. so if someone says im smart they arent.

I have all of the signs, except for the messy one, it doesn't help me to have messy things to get to new ideas, I just want my life and home organized for work or to start doing some work.

All these things mean that you are above average, but above average is very wide range. I think lQ test is more accurate than this list.
