What If All Spanish Speaking Countries United Today? Why dont you do of the real Spanish empire? Like not only the spanish speaking countries but all of the territories of spain controled, which include 70% of united states part of canada and philipines. Or, idk, do the same with france that you have done a video glorificating france with ALL of the territories that they controled, why dont you do the same with Spain? That will include Brazil and Portugal (iberian union, naples, the netherlands, sycily, occidental sahara, the north of morocco and ecuatorial guinea. I mean if you do the same with UK and France, why cant you do the same with Spain, you dont like us or something?

My goodness. If we were all united, we would reign supreme as the world's superpower. The countries have more than enough natural resources to back the currency. Every skin color, appearance and culture available to blend in or negotiate anywhere.
Instead of our current list of fast food chains, there would be giant latin restaurants in every country, making siestas(happy naps after a big lunch) mandatory.
There would have wider choice of places for manufacturing and production, cutting china out of the picture.
But instead, we remain divided for unknown reasons.

Spanish doesn't have more native speakers than English
USA population is 330 million
UK is 65 million
Ireland is 5 million
Canada is 38 million
Australia is 25 million
New Zealand is 6 million
That's 469 million native speakers and this isn't including the Carribbean and African countries

I would like a future where Britain and the former colonies form CANZUK while Spain go out of the EU and form a similar Commonwealth with Hispanoamerican nations plus Ecuatorial Guinea, Western Sahara and Philippines. The competition between two monstruous blocs would be awesome.

I can't believe he left out the philippines in this video
Considering that the Philippines would have contribute over 110, 000, 000 people and Manila would have the second most populated and most densest city its kinda bad they left it out

The Philippines, but especially (southern) Italy is not really Spanish speaking ya goof. Italy, not at all. Philippines, like 2 or 3% of the country at most speaks Spanish. Not Spanish speaking so idk why you included them in this video clown
reply

Philippines can be consider as a spanish country as religion, culture, food and belief-s are the same. However, the english language is commonly used even in schools. When some filipino use their native language they mix it with english

Why not make a video of the Spanish Empire reuniting at its territorial peak? This is a significantly weaker version, in comparison to other empire videos. adding in California alone would make it an even more powerful economic powerhouse
reply

Spain invaded South America and Africa and forced their language and culture on them. Spanish is not their native language. They was colonized. They are not a white European. You are a slave.

I'd like to request two 'What-If' thought experiments:
1. The Japanese empire re-forms, with 1942 borders.
2. All countries where the majority of people speak English unite.

What about Catalan as one of the most spoken languages after spanish? It has 10 M speakers which is more than most of the indigenous languages ( or maybe than all of them.

Would be the coolest country in the world, with a lot of attractive people, beautiful places to visit, amazing food, culture and lifestyle but also very dangerous. Fascinating.

Mexico would never be the capital of this empire, since its population is overwhelmingly poor and uneducated. If it wasn't Madrid, Buenos Aires would be the capital.
reply

A lot of those Spanish speaking countries are mestizos, I would say way more Native American than Spanish, so there-s no way they could unite with Spain
reply

You left out the vast amount of U. S. territory once controlled by Spain. That would tip some of the scales quite a bit in terms of population and economy.

This is the last thing the -English world- want xD
They worked hard to -balcanize it-at the time and keep spreading false history about us even today.

Philippines are not a Spanish-speaking country, at least today. We are in the convent for almost 333 years but we choose to embrace the hollywood. .

The map with the yellow-coded territories shown throughout forgot to include Western Sahara (disputed land in current-day, inland Morocco.
