What's the Safest Place on Earth?

What's the Safest Place on Earth? The natural disaster stats are skewed and make no sense. In Ireland, there are never earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, droughts, or snowstorms, yet in the data it says they are at an elevated risk of these. Only a bit of flooding or over-blown storms, and never more than a couple people dying indirectly. It can only be theoretical sometime in the far future, because there are no volcanoes or earthquakes near enough to make a deadly tsunami.

Funny because in those finalist countries, there are still so many who want to leave. They immigrate to North America! Costs of food, housing, and over-crowding are some reasons. Friends of mine who come from those countries and have left say that they would never move back! Living on an island, a peninsula, or in an isolated, almost remote area, where jet travel is essential, is not the best, in many people's opinion.

You forgot about the natural disaster of rising water levels which will affect most of the islands like Iceland, Qatar etc and even Monaco being a coastal country

Sigh, I hate that the only time the UK was mentioned was in refrence to us killing the only Icelandic guy in a military insitant in the past 500 years. Way to go us!

Iceland has a homogenous well educated population. Low on sunshine. Learned that Barbados scores very high overall. Nice country.

Monaco having a high life expectancy is kind of skewed because old people will move there after retirement, especially richer ones.

As an Arabian, i can confirm that there is little to no natural disasters except when the oil hole runs out of oil
