Why Hundreds of Uncontacted Tribes Still Exist in South America

Why Hundreds of Uncontacted Tribes Still Exist in South America I think the term -un-contacted- is a misnomer and could be equally be applied to -us- as to -them. - Its just a matter of perspective. There are some Amazonian tribes who have rejected all attempts at contact and others who have made contact, but chose to disregard it. There are also many examples in the Amazon of the tribesmen leaving behind metal technology. I would be curious to know their reasoning. Fear, respect for others belongings, rejection of modernity, confusion, or mere preference. I have a romantic vision that these tribes will one day rebuild humanity after the rest of the world suffers an AI-arms race that results in nuclear war wiping out everything but the Amazon. It would certainly make a good film. :)

What constitutes -progress- is subjective. Modern surgery with anesthesia? Awesome. Rainwater being contaminated and unsafe everywhere on the planet now? Abominable beyond comprehension. Before you imply that these tribes are -behind-, consider how their tribal members have their physical needs met, which modern societal politics fail to meet.

Europeans are not a cancer. There is no evidence that they killed massive amounts of people with disease that is a conspiracy theory. Uncontacted tribe numbers, dwindle, because people leave the tribe typically in search of medical assistance due to children. Stop criticizing my people this way.

They don't want to know brah. they see what modern civilization does to ppl and generations. they have survived for thousands of years so what benefits can your civilization give to them that they don't have. they only reason why the started to die off is because of our diseases. stay away

Oh so a guy can shoot someone with an arrow and the government rewards him with a 68km exclusion zone, while I shoot someone with an arrow and the government rewards me with a stay in prison
reply

The idea that uncontacted tribes don't know about modern world is both ignorant and cruel. They know too well who we really are. That's why they remain uncontacted and shoot us on site

I think it is interesting topic but highly unlikely that having explored the amazon forest so well(and having destroyed a big chunk of it) there are still tribes we haven't discovered.
reply

Imagine they thought they been observed by Dragon this whole time who try to eat them if they been of guard.
: Sorry my English is bad, i hope u understand what i mean.

These -uncontacted- tribes are usually aware of modern civilisation through word of mouth from other tribes but they choose to live their way and that should be respected

Discovery? Well how about this: let us indigenous discover Europe, kill the majority with our deseases and take over that country by force. Sounds like an invasion.

Love everyone in the comments pretending to be closer to the tribes, like our grandparents weren't violent alien invaders terrorizing people to steal their homeland
reply

its too bad many of the diseases we have on us 24/7 like permanently can kill these tribe mens because they didn't develop the immunity of that said defease we have
reply

As a brazilian I didn't know this. I do remember my science teacher talking about how an indigenous kid was lost in the forest and survived by eating fruits

Hey -reallifelore, why do you and others like you insist on having this fake computer-generated voice? It's quite off-putting and makes you less trustworthy

4: 30 unfortunately -The Man of the Hole- died in August 2022, he died in his hammock, adorned by feathers. It is believed that he faced death knowingly.

Imagine these guys start colonizing some random unknown islands, and when they go the huge continents they are just greeted by huge buildings.
reply

Please stop calling them indigenous, none of the -natives- are from the American continent. No human is native to the Western Hemisphere
reply

I think they don't really need to struggle with society problems like pandemics, lockdowns, windows11, McDonald's and censorship
reply

commenting at the beginning, but I think any human deserves the chance to propagate it's DNA into the large human ancestral hive
reply

i didn't know that as much as 80-95% of indigenous populations died because of european colonizers. this broke my heart
reply

Sadly, he passed away in August 2022. I hope those responsible for the destruction of his tribe recieve punishment.
reply

All you European Just stop reproduction like -Rabbits- so you have not to invade other nations and leave them alone
reply

Because we dont have the necesity to expropiate and kill native american people, rather us americans and canadians
reply

-Cancer! -
As if it was Europeans' fault that a bunch of inbreds didn't have a better developed immune system.

reply

i'd like to think the guy in the woods has like a dog or something, maybe a parrot they live for long while
reply

They should all be Christians according to Christianity. They are living proof that all religions are scam
