it is incorrect to refer to any Arab in north or west Africa as indigenous or natives. indeed. this is particularly redicouls to say. as the people in question were formed by the fusion of the northern Berber cultures and the Arab Cultures. (the Berbers having been in north Africa and being conquered by the Umayyads) than the Arabs that came to the region as part of the expansion of the Umayyad Caliphate. that is like saying that modern Americans were the native people of this country if at some future point we got conquered and driven into the hills by some other people. both groups got there before the Spanish to be sure. but that doesn't make them the natives of the region. the actual natives were driven out in the 700's pushed further south into west Africa. the Berbers literally predate the Arabs arrival. people from the arabian peninsula are not the native people in west africa. neither technically are the North Africans. but several north African empires stretched down to modern day Mauritania even before the Umayyad Caliphate.
to be clear this is not me saying that morroco's claim is justified. that land was Spanish for hundreds of years and Morocco had not controlled it for almost 1000. but. the Arabs never had administrative control of it at all at any point during that same period. and the Berbers did actually administratively control it in the 1060's though they didn't by the time the Spanish showed up. by the time Spain gave up that land there was no rightful owner left. the true natives were wiped out before the Umayyad caliphate ever showed up.

This video is so incredibly biased against Morocco LOL. Just to clear some things up.
1) The land was always Moroccan. In 1912 France and Spain simultaneously invaded Morocco and split it up. Riff Sahara= Spain and Atlas Atlantic= French.
2) The Sahrawi resistance was created by Morocco to fight the Spanish.
3) Morocco attacked Algeria to get it's land back. Algeria is a French creation. All of the Algerian desert was never Algerian. Western Algeria like Tindouf were Moroccan. until taken away by France and added to Algeria. Algeria promised to return the lands after their independance. Morocco aided them in their fight against the French. However after independance they found out that the region had some oil and natural gas. They then betrayed Morocco and came back on their promise. This is what caused the invasion.
4) The 350. 000 settlers were mostly Sahrawis who had migrated in Morocco. Either for better opportunities or fleeing from the Spanish. They have a right to return and vote aswel. Although some of them were indeed settlers

Moreover, it's intellectually absurd to call Morocco invader or conqueror, while it was Spain and France who were the invaders.
At the end, the sahara was, is and will be always moroccan!

as a moroccan i came sprinting when isaw this video, im too unpatient to wtch all of this but the most important fact you need to know is that place is morocco, moroccans live, no one was kicked out off there, the ppl who claime that its theirs arent even in there a bunch of algerians and some other nationalities, no offence to algerians of course but their governement funds the polizario even tho its known they arent from there

You can't call people settlers when their grand parents lived in what you called 'Spanish Sahara', the right of Repatriation is also guaranted by law but you still never mentioned it. Some parts of the Video sounded so much like Algerian propaganda, while it should show both sides. There are no angels in politics
