What the Bunny Huggers don’t want you to know- the native people who live in Alaska who the Bunny Huggers say they’re trying to protect don’t want protection! We need the revenue here in Alaska to survive. Many native villages get their winter fuel for heating, money for necessary community services and programs from oil revenues. The native corporations survive off of tourism and oil revenues. We need those monies to survive winter. They have already tried taking away our rights to subsistence hunt & fish which is our way and has been our way for 1000s of years. I’m from a small native village in Alaska and we NEED the oil industry. For those of you who can go to the grocery stores and get groceries the helpful things you’re doing is destroying our way of life. QUIT INTERFERING! WE DONT WANT YOUR PROTECTION!

Do you know what the Noble Lie is It's the lie that's told for a greater good where you play the bad guy. In the 70's, 80's and early 90's, we didn't have the technology to make efficient, clean electric vehicles. Solar and wind power were in their infancy and not every place had water for hydro electric. The economic cost, as well as the cost to the average person, would have devastated the western world. We're talking 50 bucks for bread and untreated water to drink. THIS is why so many people in politics, economics, and yes even science got behind the oil industry's rhetoric. Because they had no choice. Big oil is indeed the bad guy by polluting the world, but I wonder. if they hadn't what would the world have looked like

A problem I see is That climate scientist have used fear as a way to illustrate the urgency of climate change, but the change have been so small and haven't shown any big shifts that normal people just now get suspicious about it. Like where is the fire and death some ask as there is no snow in Northern Europe top temps are breaking records and other signs. then fear of Sea levels swarming big city's and total desertification have not happen. But the weather sure is dry and hotter than last year and there was that flood.
They came with strong fearful images and never delivered on it, we as a collective avoided it and that just made normal people angry when it happened for the 50th time.

We stoped the hole in ozone layer from expanding! You know all the satellites lunched by spacex for internet access Their lifespan is max 5 years and made to self destruct as they crash down to earth for obvious reasons. However there is a problem with that, they’re made out aluminum, which then explodes into atmosphere cause a chain reaction that destroys ozone in large scale. In less than 5 years all the efforts put into recovery of the hole, it will be not just wasted, but will be much, much worst. Their goal is lunch a satellite every hour, while two other private companies would do the same lunches in the near future.

Climate change should not be a partisan issue. Everyone wants, at the end of the day, to leave a better world for their children. Both sides of the political aisle are trying to do that, just in different ways aligning with their own beliefs on what that 'better' is (or at least, they should be) But better is easily clouded by short-term gains, even if all it will leave people is a burning, broken world. Prancing about the mess they've made and pretending it's a throne is not a mark of power. It is a mark of blind greed, but no amount of money can drag someone out of moral bankruptcy.

Non-partisan topic whose solutions are all politically advantageous to one side One party has also spent decades railroading our best carbon free energy source and then the proof that we shouldn't use it is that it was nearly impossible to make it work during those decades. Also, this is the most important issue for the entire planet, but we are aiming to sink the biggest company trying to get us to reduce carbon usage because he is publicly supporting the opposing party.

Can you do a series about college programs
E. G. explaining the programs such as engineering, etc.
Then explain what jobs would you gain after taking that program.
There's a lot of students in the Philippines who's undecided and took Bachelor of Science in Information Technology as a last resort then suffer the consequences because that is not their calling.

Hope you came with this video 10 years ago. So many activists have already said the things you just said, but ig if you posted this 10 years ago you'd get assassinated by big oil. Still a very impact video, hope more people see this. Better late than never!

Carbon footprint is not a bad idea. I agree with a lot of the video except for the bit that lets consumers off the hook. By using oil everyday, we absolutely are responsible for the climate crisis.
Without demand there would be no supply!

Temperature records derived from soil data suggests that we had similar high temperatures on earth 2000 years ago also. So, it suggests a natural cycle of high and low spanning across thousands of years irrespective of human action.

Those industry leaders could have been remembered as heroes AND made a fortune by investing in renewables early. Instead they wasted billions of dollars and billions of future lives to prop up their dying, murderous industries

It’s the same with weapons industry, they convert it into a political issue about people’s freedom. Companies don’t care about people’s freedom or well being, their only motive it their profit

Now talk about how they're pushing Hydrogen fuel for cars, it blows my mind that people think this is a better alternative to batteries. They don't understand they they're being manipulated by Shell.

The Ottoman entry to the war was a particular concern to the British, since the Middle East is full of oil and Britain wanted all that oil. Oversimplified
