'Minds me of a book I read about a kid who is stuck with the narcissistic and arrogant airhead who doesn't know squat and yet thinks he is the best of the best for a school project and just in general as a classmate. Meanwhile the kid stuck with the know it all noodlebrain is a literal genius, but doesn't quite understand just how brilliant he is.

Yeh Definitely True Probably but also mines from brain stuntedness and mental health issues, so i see my achievements as quite good yes definitely agreed but then i cant be that bad as lots of people want to knick and use my brain power and such like I think anyway

Umm. actually I over doubt myself and I know I do but I can't help it and my friends point it out to me a lot but I think it's because I'm always unsure so I doubt myself and as others even though most of the time I'm correct

Given that the USA is a company that values appearances and over-the-top-ness over sense and sensibility, I am not surprised by the results of the surveys.

I felt this way my whole life. My cognitive dissonance has blinded me to the truth that Im not perfect or special or more interesting. Ive only recently realized the truth in the past few years.

Of course, this phenomenon only applies to my opponents and other people I don't like, not me. I'll make sure to use this as an invalidation tactic in the future!

So you mean our parents are actually worse than us because they always say I was better at this when I was your age and we will tell our children that too.

Well if one is wrong about everything they have to be wrong about being wrong too and therefore think theyre right (which is wrong.

We create failures are so that we look successful by comparison. That is to say, to seem very amazing while doing very little.
