Before the creation of humanity, the Greek gods won a great battle against a race of giants called the Titans. Most Titans were destroyed or driven to the eternal hell of Tartarus. But the Titan Prometheus, whose name means foresight, persuaded his brother Epimetheus to fight with him on the side of the Gods. Iseult Gillespie shares the myth of Prometheus. I just shake my head when I come back at dis man, like my man Prometheus be helping Zeus with the humans where Zeus basically impregnated his creations and Zeus be like ooh punishment for helping de human but youre the one taking entertainment from de humans and creating more half humans like tf Zeus, you okey?

there is a flaw in the narration. humans had fire and then Zeus took it away, and then Prometheus stole it for them. how different was this fire such that it lead to rapid progress? Humans were denied fire by Zues since beginning because he feared that Humans will rebel one day.

Isn't funny how Zeus and Prometheus are obvious parallels to God and Satan and yet everyone seems to admire Prometheus for his rebellion against a tyrant god but not satan. Shows you how important the way we tell stories is and who we decide to make the hero.

I wish I could hug Prometheus. He seems like that Titian that looks scary, but in reality he's just a giant teddy bear. and for Zues someone should step on him, I want to hear their feet go stomp, stomp, stomp on Zues' head

Prometheus:
Puts Good and bad things in one, puts good and bad thing in other.
Zeus: THATS IT THIS GUY MUST LIVE IN AGONY FOR LIFE
Prometheus: Chill bro,
Me: More like Brometheus

You left out the part where Zeus told him he would set him free if he would just tell Zeus who would bring an end to his reing. Prometheus never did and went down as a champ

A few thousand years later: let's team up with Kronos to get rid of humanity. Let's give Percy Jackson a gift that was a punishment for humanity and me. (Pandora's pithos)

What a satanic tale!
This story is absolutely about glorifying Lucifer and his rebellious acts against God! but was put is away that makes you sympathize with Satan!

reply

Let's not forget he had the power to see the future. He knew exactly what would happened to him, and yet did it anyway. Absolute mad respect for him.
reply

he was god of foresight so there was a very high chance he already knew his punishment, but still chose to steal fire because he loved humans
