Today's biggest problem is trustworthy sources. No one out there is objective, even people in many of the sciences. And the ways people can lie with statistics is endless. There is a phenomenon called the Mask Effect. When you look at the concave side of a mask from a perfectly straight on angle, it will appear convex. I think our perceptions are the same way. You can see it in our politics where the GOOD of one side is the BAD of the other and vice versa. Look at how completely opposed Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi were in the their opinion of the Jedi Council. How could you sway one of them to the other side?

Most people on this world are ignorants, others lack of education or low IQ. For those in power is very convenient to manipulate peoples minds to their advantage with big lies (easier to believe) fake news or promises never to materialise. Some countries use indoctrination to control peoples minds.

Very true. Sadly I've noticed people are so set in their ways many times that even when using those three components, they still won't change their minds despite the benefits that would follow. But I will definitely try to improve my debating skills.
