From slave to rebel gladiator: The life of Spartacus - Fiona Radford Myron: Maybe if they would have continued to the Alps, history would be drastically different. Lets say hypothetically that Spartacuss army ( along with other factors) contributed to the downfall of Rome greatly. If they retreated, maybe Rome would have lasted much longer than needed and possibly still exist today, a consequence that would have dire effects on us today lol. In short, Spartacus is to Rome, what Alexander the Great was to Persia.

Amazing that rome was shocked by Spartacus! And defeated my the muslims with the same idea spartacus had. You are Born free and we are all desendents of Adam. They erased slavery in arabia and the whole East. 1400 years ago. Spartacus would love the muslims for they stand like Brothers, fighting for the same cause, but different Motivation. Would spartacus live, he would have attacked many countrys between 1900-1980

Anyone else here cause they just watched a production of the Ballet? I swear its one of the lone classics or prominent ballets with a male protagonist and dancer focus. Shout out to The Australian Ballet's 2018 Production with Principal Artists Kevin & Robyn!

So I watched the Netflix show Roman Empire and it said Cesar had a hand in taking down Spartacus's army. Can any one confirm or deny this? I can't find a solid source on google. I'll continue looking in the mean time.

After reaching the Alps, Spartacus should have left his men & went home to Thrace. Even if he had to sneak out at night to do it, letting the narcissist Crixus & his plunderers carry on to their doom.

Spartacus: wants to be known for his real name and not the one the Romans gave him after the thracian dynasty of the same name.
Everyone: again remembers him as Spartacus

Even though Spartacus is a great strategist, but hes also overconfident. If I was him, I wouldve persuaded his men to march further north be free.

BTW the Romans did not sent 2 legions when they realised that they were facing a fully organised revolt they sent 2 consular armies

The graphics are disappointing. Once again the good guys are light and the bad guys are dark. Would expect better from TED.

If Spartacus went to the Alps. Central and Northern Europe would have been changed forever. We would have different races.
