Since this video didn't really answer the question, I will. The best naps are either 15-25 minutes (power naps, when you don't have as much time, or 75-90 minute naps (full sleep cycle naps. These are the best for recharging your brain and body, but also allowing you to wake up from them more easily.

Combine your nap with coffee. Coffee takes about 15-20mins to kick in. So, drink the coffee, immediately lie down and close your eyes, have an alarm for 20mins later. You'll have the resting effect of the nap plus the effect from the caffeine. It's actually called a coffee nap.

Everyone praises nap benefits and here I am, when I take a nap I wake up 8 min later thinking we re already tomorrow. I feel exhausted and confused all afternoon and I can t go to sleep at night because those 8min must have lasted 8hours in some other dimension.

I feel my best after waking up is when I got full circle of 90 min. But I also feel guilty for napping longer than I expected. So I try to hit myself up at 30-45 min, but always oversleep or tired.

i just recline my computer chair, which is actually a converted car seat exactly because i want to be able to do that, and fade until i automatically wake up 15 minutes later

The worst thing is when i try to take a nap for resting & feeling well afterwards but end up irritated and getting a headache because of the disturbance in the surroundings

Me takes a nap
Expectation: Waking up after 5 minutes fully energised.
Reality: Wakes up 5 hours later confused wheather it's the same day or the next day.

Yeah, I always hear this, but, it takes me around an hour to fall sleep for 30 minutes. I can't uderstand how people just go to sleep like that.
