Practice more problem-solving at. You and your best friend Bill are the greatest bards in the kingdom but maybe not the brightest. Your hit song has insulted the king and now you re slated for execution. Luckily, Death is a connoisseur of most excellent music and has decided to give you a chance to escape your fate. Can you beat him at a life-sized game of Snakes and Ladders and live to sing another day? Shravan S K shows how

Alternate solution:
Take (5-15)ladder, then (19-41) ladder. Then take the ladder on 44
jump from (44-82)ladder to (59-95)ladder at their intersection on 63. Reach 95 and then 100. (ONLY IN 4 MOVES)
Similarly take ladder on 4. Jump from (4-75) ladder to (35-96) at their intersection on 66. Reach 96 and then 100! ( ONLY IN 3 MOVES)

Solved it by accident. I found the path using the 53-94 ladder first completely missing that 47-30 was a snake. Then when I found the second path and realized that it also used 41 (76 and 19 both lead there) the complete answer dawned on me.

Almost got it, save for the fact I misread it as you and your friend get a total of 5 rolls rather than you and your friend each get 5 rolls. The former made the riddle quite impossible.

cool fact: snake and ladders was invented in INDIA
snake represent bad karma and ladder means good karma
and winning the game means achieving salvation

Please make those puzzles more schematic. It was such a pain to make a screenshot and try to draw the paths on such a cartoonish weightened graph. Thank you

they're not the brightest? well, if they can beat a game of snakes and ladders with the good old grim reaper himself, they're certainly brighter than me!

I thought the exit was beyond room 100 and couldn't figure it out, but once I got to the point in the solution I realised I had already solved the puzzle.
