The Divine immaculate conception of Augustus Caesar 25th December born 9
months later 23 september i adopted Capricorn as my star signThe
doorposts of my house were covered with laurels by public act, and a
civic crown was fixed above my doorI HAVE ADORNED MY DOOR IN HONOUR OF
THE SON OF GOD PRINCE OF PEACE The Deeds of the Divine Augustus, In my
sixth and seventh consulships, when I had extinguished the flames of
civil war, after receiving by universal consent the absolute control of
affairs, I transferred the republic from my own control to the will of
the senate and the Roman people. For this service on my part I was given
the title of Augustus by decree of the senate, and the doorposts of my
house were covered with laurels by public act, and a civic crown was
fixed above my door

For awhile there I wasnt sure if this was about the rise and fall of Julius Cesaer, or Napoleon Bonaparte. They shared many similar personal traits and life trajectory, with the resulting indelible impact on world history.
Cesaers influence on Western Europe in its Classical leanings instead of a Celtic one was a major legacy still evident today.

Ceasar didnt wear a laurel wreath. He wore the Corona Civica because Sulla made it compulsory for military heroes who were awarded crowns to wear them in public settings. These guys are just clueless

It's interesting how Ceasar is considered to be one of the greatest figures of European history, but he was basically like many dictators and generals of our time, those who we call evil

31: 30 in 60 A. D. there were twelve million Gauls, - T. R.
60 A. D. or B. C?
Wouldn't that make Caesar 160 years old if he had lived in 60 A. D?

Raw steak is how you end up with tapeworms and Toxoplasma gondii. But apart from that, I enjoyed the documentary!

Caesar was a mafia thug. A classic fascist who destroyed the republican system and ultimately all Roman power.
