Priest, bishops and senators are masterfully trained in arts of greed, lust for power, manipulation, dirty games and ecomomic sabotage. The day of your doom will soon be upon you, for all the people youve killed, the treasures youve slowly stolen and collected during the flow time, we will take it all back, the traces of past that you removed to secure your teachings and system will soon be stripped off

THE SON OF GOD PRINCE OF PEACE The Deeds of the Divine Augustus, In my
sixth and seventh consulships, when I had extinguished the flames of
civil war, after receiving by universal consent the absolute control of
affairs, I transferred the republic from my own control to the will of
the senate and the Roman people. For this service on my part I was given
the title of Augustus by decree of the senate, and the doorposts of my
house were covered with laurels by public act, and a civic crown was
fixed above my door

For awhile there I wasnt sure if this was about the rise and fall of Julius Cesaer, or Napoleon Bonaparte. They shared many similar personal traits and life trajectory, with the resulting indelible impact on world history.
Cesaers influence on Western Europe in its Classical leanings instead of a Celtic one was a major legacy still evident today.

ANOTHER GREAT AWESOME SHOW! Thank You Timeline & Tony! Great insights. BUT the people did not hate him. The power & ruling class hated him. He was a VERY Brutal and Logical Practical tyrant = had to go! Be Well & Safe. Peace & Health

Ceasar didnt wear a laurel wreath. He wore the Corona Civica because Sulla made it compulsory for military heroes who were awarded crowns to wear them in public settings. These guys are just clueless
reply

It's interesting how Ceasar is considered to be one of the greatest figures of European history, but he was basically like many dictators and generals of our time, those who we call evil
reply

He canceled his contract and went back to rome were commands seen as contracts? Like people would bid for commands or sign contracts to command a legion?

31: 30 in 60 A. D. there were twelve million Gauls, - T. R.
60 A. D. or B. C?
Wouldn't that make Caesar 160 years old if he had lived in 60 A. D?

The problem with these documentaries is that you have a bunch of beta male liberal Brits superimposing their modern world views on men 2000 years ago
reply

Glad Caesars no longer are allowed to harm so many humans. Birth stores have been invented for centuries, thank you for posting,
reply

That's why everyone who was one a teenager at one point and time was like anarchy it all started with Julius Caesar

Sulla did not say, in this man I see the person who will bring down our whatever. He said, in him I see many Mariuses.

I think that looks like blue steak hes eating, The outside of the steak is seared, but for such a short time
reply

One thought: basically every thing he did today would be highly illegal. Maybe thats why we dont have Caesars anymore
reply

Raw steak is how you end up with tapeworms and Toxoplasma gondii. But apart from that, I enjoyed the documentary!
reply

Yuck that steak looks so nasty. I feel the cameraman was trolling us by zooming in. If he has to see it, so do we
reply

Caesar was a mafia thug. A classic fascist who destroyed the republican system and ultimately all Roman power.
reply

I bet the Italians in that restaurant never forgot the day when they saw a foreigner eat an entire steak raw.
reply

Cesar did not hire thugs, he didnt need to. People were simply sick of the Boni. This is such rubbish.
