Neither a completed facial estimation nor a Virtual reproduction of the city and building previous thought to be the residence of the Gladiators are ever shown.
The following are definitive statements of facts, not intended to be of insult, judgememental attitude, nor argumentative, simply they are statements of the subject based on the Standards of the subject and the presented information.
Observation: They spend more time repeating their fears than discussing any real accomplishments.
Typical observed behaviors over time and in viewing countless Documentaries and reading related articles: the productions and articles display distractions towards what is presented as the focal point, and the Mainstream Archaeologists deflecting, avoiding any real accomplishments based on the Standards of Science and Research, and this for the very clear facts: The Mainstream Academics Story of History (aka Paradigm) and it's Timeline, are derived from their 19th Century Theory used as the focal fact foundation which their Paradigm is built upon, and this is in direct opposition to the Standards of Science and Research, which requires an Open Mind and prohibits the application of: Beliefs, Theories, Opinions, having any place or influence in/over the Content of Study and its subsquent findings.
Academics that respect and follow the Standards of Science and Research are known as Authentic Academics.
Thus, unbeknownst to the viewer, this and most Documentaries are in their greater entirety, conjecture, not valuable towards a fact based Academic Record of History, nor do they offer a great deal in entertainment value.
Be that as it may, it is the Viewer's Unawareness of the points mentioned, that I would seem deem concerning, as the Public has a naive tendency to believe the Media Content as fact or in greater part factual.

I don't know if someone will read this comment but. I just wanted to tell you that I sometimes dreaming the place of a crowded places and loud environment and also the volcanic eruption. It feels so real actually. The clothes and everything about how they document about the pompeii looks like and what was happening bacl then. I got curious and started to search about my dream ( I started to search this last year but I started to dream about the place this 2020. I talked to my friend who loves history and she was surprised that my dream was related to pompeii. I really want to tell everyone about this but I don't know if someone will believe in me. I swesr I am not making some story. The dream keeps hunting me. I got a birth mark too ( they says that could be related to the past ) It really makes me goosebumps. I saw in my dream how I was standing and looking to the volcano. The volcano in my dream is really the same of the volcano that destroyed the pompeii. I have alot of story to tell you how was my life in the dream ( past) if my dream saying it was past then I can tell a story about it.

Interesting, needless to say. When I was in Pompeii many moons ago, they wouldn't let us young women see an X rated fresco on the wall of one of the homes. Decades later, they let my college age daughter see that along with her other female friends. Times have changed in that respect. But, it's amazing that they chose to rebuild modern day Pompeii right at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius again, and it's only a matter of time til it blows again. Last time was 1946 I believe. History repeats itself in more ways than one if even in shades/echoes per historian Ken Burns and those who FORGET history are doomed to repeat it. George Santayana. the TRUTH! Unfortunately, Some people don't want to HEAR the TRUTH, they don't want their illusions destroyed. Friedrich Nietzsche, another TRUTH!

The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. (Psalms 145: 17-20)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17: 30)
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13: 5)

The way these bodys were just frozen in time reminds me of some of the people that died in the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I mean at least here in the Pompeii you can actually See the shape of a person. Where as so many of the people in the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings were just completely incinerated to just a black mark on the very spot where they once were.

As an empath, I can feel that trauma of those victims. I can feel that. It just resonates with me in a way I can't explain. They didn't expect anything like that to happen. The worst part is they couldn't even save their children. Also the amount of fear they had. unbelievable. That doomed feeling they had, scary. R. I. P Pompeii.

This was very educational but I found the music not too lively for such a somber event in which thousands died. The music didn't convey sadness and wonder in me.
Also, the narrator should not be the same person doing voice-over translations when the Spanish-speaking scientists are speaking as it makes it a bit tricky to follow

Top Species, animals. Back to Paodi Lodge. That's a responsibility of each Top Species. When our kingdom has a new build, they go to represent their species. They see where they fit in, what kind of contrubtuion value can be earned for their species, what learning oppurtunity presents.

They fear that they will be in Pompeii when it erupts once again. Pompeii, the city they have undoubtedly attached themselves to just like the people from long ago. The city they explore. The city they may be frozen in time in. Isn't that ironic

I prefer a virtual visit when I think about this place. although it looks nice, if it ever happened again, it would be just like 79 AD if it happened to that extent again. I would not want to be present, when it does go off again.

As for my theory, I think radiation instantly killed them. I think that explains their odd positions. They are doing what they are doing when they died. I think everthing that happened during that time happened really quick.

Stopped watching after 20 seconds due to the totally unnecessary over-dramatic narration and background music. It's supposed to be a history documentary btw, not a marvel comics prelude.

If these people who perished were today's generation, the plasters would have had celphone on each hand trying to post probably or take a selfie or call emergency services

I'm sorry but estimating a nose by it's width isn't how you decide the tip. Such bad data going off information you don't have. What if their race was stuck up noses like pigs?

If a person knows and sees what are the consequences of this heinous and filthy act, and what is his punishment from God, he would not even think about it, not to do it.

What bugs me the most is why they keep these literal corpses in museums for research and education instead of simply giving these people proper burials.
reply

How do they know they found women/men? They could have been they/them. Lol. thank Goodness for those who still go by facts and not feelings to preserve history.
