I wonder how ANY family would weather the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune if they were subjected to the sort of
outrageous 24/7 prying, snooping, and boorish nastiness of the likes of the British press, who appear to observe no boundaries whatsoever when it comes to the Windsors. Back in the early 70s the Loud family from Santa Barbara allowed
a tv film crew to document their daily lives for a year, and Americans watched in agony as that family tragically unraveled for all the world to see. It seems that being objectified so publicly is like ones worst nightmare of being lost and naked in a very
hostile environment. How is it possible to make good decisions under such relentless stress? While monarchy per se strikes me as fiscally wasteful and absurdly redundant for a nation with a democratic form of government, I still feel a sense of sadness for all the royals, Elizabeth in particular, who has sacrificed the privacy and luxury of an ordinary life with her husband and children for an existence as a disempowered figurehead whose purpose is to be nothing more, really, than a human flag.

They didn't stay at Frogmore Cottage. People saw them getting in and coming out the Clarence House.
As for the Saturday party, I guess they didn't want the thousands of the crowd to show their feelings in a worldwide screen. They can say whatever they like, but imagine 22. 000 people to boo them. They didn't risk it. So much worse if they were not sitting at the Royal Box.
We don't mind a photo of their children, just a confirmation that they travelled with children and the Queen met any of them. As, again, people saw them without any children and heading to the airport to leave UK.

At 4: 38 - That's incorrect. Upon their wedding, Phillip was not made a Prince, only a Royal Duke. He renounced his Greek titles (where he was a Prince, and was then gifted HRH and the Duke title by King George. It wasn't until later that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth (his wife, bestowed Phillip a Prince of The United Kingdom, from THEN he was known as Prince Philip. Before hand, it was simply, His Royal Highness, Phillip Duke of Edinburugh. Now, His Royal Highness The Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Raised by wolves. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Hold First Birthday Party for Lilibet. No Senior Royals Went. Being banned from taking a photograph of their daughter with her grandmother probably took the cake. A series of conspicuous by their absence non-invitations to any events where they might be pictured alongside HM and the failure of any of Harrys immediate family to turn up for Lilibets birthday party. As any parent knows, its when people take it out on your kids that it hurts the most.

Well I am not amused and find it very disconcerting to see so many homeless people on the streets of London as I envisage those pathetic Great Grandchildren of Susie the Corgi making sure her silver servers are pure silver and not electronic silver nickel plated. I love animals, but I would take that Corgi into the poorest area of England, chuck it out the door and see if after a few days it likes raw rat.

The queen is the strength of his family. Although her children. went through crisis in their lives she still love not as a queen but as a mother. The public may criticing her. children especially Prince Andrew he is still his son. The treatment may be different in the past history of the monarchy but this is the twenty-first century where everyrhing are modernized unlike the antediluvian era.

How much is the queen worth? We don't know because it is a closely guarded secret subject to the Official Secrets Act and when she dies her will will be sealed and locked away for 100 years. Her sons and daughter will inherit whatever the will says and we don't get to know about it. You can bet none of them will be paying any inheritance tax.

The closest I have come to the Queen is in London is in 1988 when I visited England, London, flying from New York New York. A drive by in a car revealed the Buckingham Palace. I hope to see her majesty the Queen n London as I have seen her on the island Jamaica. As she pass by in her royal car with bike and car policemen's guarding the trip.

I found out in my genealogy that Diana is my 11th cousin. Even though I am so far in relation and I will never know anyone from that side of my faimly, I liked the documentary until they started criticizing Diana it was very untasteful. I have to wonder if the Queen would agree with any of what these people say about her.

There is an error here. I remember that after the Coronation, Philip was often referred to as Prince Philip, but this was not correct. There was some controversy about why he was not a prince, and finally the Queen made him Prince Philip in 1957. This says that he was given that title in 1946. NOT TRUE.

Her majesty the Queen is a role model for all women. Please take a look at her grace and unselfish work ethic and loyalty to family and country, you won't find many like her. A very special woman. All woman should learn from her.

Perhaps if the Queen had told her son you are a married man and a Prince of the realm and STOP seeing that married woman you are carrying on with. The marriage would have lasted and advanced the Royal Family.

She is very old now so her lack of managing is understandable but this lack is very obvious in how she not handled the criminal Prince Andrew or Harry & Meghans continuing attacks. She should retire.

She had pacific duties (at 8: 50? Dear lord, I listened 3 x times to make certain I wasn't mistaken. How appalling that a toffee-nosed, plum in the mouth Brit should make such an awful faux paux!
