I mean Im just going to say it. The Mayans were just horrible people! I know they did it for religion, status, etc etc but I dont care they were horrible people. No matter how you try an mix and match the things they did they were horrible. And if you try to explain the things they did with justification thats cool for you I guess. But Ill let you know ahead of time and spoilers: I dont care and if youre ok with being an enabler of murder on a mass level thats good for you because thats how Ill think of you trying to get explain their malarkey to me. And if youre so time of descendant of the Mayans then Im sorry, I apologize! I apologize that you had to be born from the blood of such animalistic, brutal, savage people. And not savage in a racial epithet or anything of that nature, but I mean savage in the most literal, plain, and simple way possible! They were not the worst people ever but they were some of the worst people ever without a doubt in my mind about!

Uh curing asthma with tobacco isn't a medical gaffe. That's very much a possibility in the right conditions and dosage under expert guidance. I bet they didnt add hundreds of chemicals to the tobacco either. Maybe they had additives that helped, and werent deadly in large amounts to us. As we do today. That could make it different for you.
