Here's something from State and Revolution which was written before MLK was ever born.
During the lifetime of great revolutionaries, the oppressing classes constantly hounded them, received their theories with the most savage malice, the most furious hatred and the most unscrupulous campaigns of lies and slander. After their death, attempts are made to convert them into harmless icons, to canonize them, so to say, and to hallow their names to a certain extent for the consolation of the oppressed classes and with the object of duping the latter, while at the same time robbing the revolutionary theory of its substance, blunting its revolutionary edge and vulgarizing it.

King wasn't just an advocate for racial equality, although that's what the establishment focuses on today. He also supported social and economic equality, talking about things like a guaranteed living wage and a return to New Deal-style political policies and speaking out against the military industrial complex at a time when America was still very much in the shadow of the McCarthy Red Scare (and still is. He was a true patriot and spokesman for equality for all--black, white, rich, poor, etc.

Don't let this new information they claim confuse you. MLK was assassinated because he knew how to get the country together and the illuminati didn't want strong Americans working together having better community leaders and safe streets. Cause if Americans are united they can't manipulate us into killing each other. While politicians live as elites and tax payers pay check smaller no matter how the country is doing.

Am I the only one that noticed the commentary on this video does not match the pictures? For example, around minute 1: 17 when mentioning the death of MLKs grandmother, they showed a picture of MLKs mother instead. Ironically towards the end of this video when they mentioned the assassination of his mother they showed the same woman. This is only one of many other examples. Smh

I'm impressed to learn even more, even though I already knew half this stuff. I like that you provided photos I've never seen of his college years as well as women he dated. I didn't know about the other woman Martin Luther King's father wanted him to marry. I certainly knew nothing about his smoking habit.

Yall did a great honor to the man in making him more human to the masses. Now plenty of people will realize that he wasn't crazy or a zealot he was just a man that was doing what he felt must be done by somebody even at the cost of there life.

LOL at all the Right-wingers/Republicans pretending like they care about Dr. King or his teachings. If he were alive today, doing the same activism he was doing them, theyd all call him woke and hate everything about him.

I didn't know he had an arsenal of guns (which I completely understand why) now this line from the Fresh Prince has even more relevant
You know, even the great Martin Luther King probably drew the line somewhere!

reply

He cheated on his wife with different women and one of those women was white And this man was a great man but wasnt all to be cracked up the way history made him to be king was something else

MLK envisioned a black and white America. How is that working from the number 3 in America. About to be #4 because of wiggas then to #5 after Asians surpass them. Joe ke is ylon you racist
reply

Oh my! I never knew about the passing of his grandma or his suicide attempt. That story is literally straight out a movie but then again MLKs life in general is the most epic epic ever.
reply

I find it so amazing that a black pacifist pastor is the reason that a Hispanic man like me has so many opportunities and can date a white girl without the fear of being persecuted.
reply

i heard he was actually racist against black people. and helped plot against them. he was a paid actor and didnt really exist. what if it were true? thats so sad
reply

I'm very surprised that Dr. King owned an arsenal of guns. I don't blame him for fearing for his life, but it still goes against the nonviolence he preached.
reply

NO Mention Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a LIFELONG REGISTERED REPUBLICAN.
This is FACT and non-debatable!
Think we got us a lefty here.

reply

Would appreciate it if you did a documentary about the lynching of Emmett Till. Hes sacrifice helped the process of the civil rights movement
reply

I live right near where Dr. King went to school in Chester. My grandfather was a kid at a time and was always amazed he lived near him
reply

Police were ridiculous back then as they are doing the same things today in 2021. Arrested 29 times, that is insane.
reply

Dude was also a womanizer, he had several mistresses in different states.
His honor, is horseshit and a big fat farce.

reply

You left out the part about a liberal white northern family (the Kennedy's) illegally wiretapping King's hotel rooms.
