I wake up out of my 2nd AMNESIA of 3 I have had I suppose in this current lifetime.
I wake up on the exact day that BACK TO THE FUTURE was stated in the original movie, that was Oct 2015. So I had been in amnesia again suddenly from jan 2015 - that exact day in Oct 2015 the exact day as in the movie.
That exact day, KEN TAYLOR, the CANADIAN AMBASSADOR to IRAN who protected all US DIPLOMATS and hid them in the CANADIAN EMBASSY FAMILIES HOUSES, that was the same day that KEN TAYLOR suddenly died that exact same time I woke up again out of that very short AMNESIA state where I was forced to deny my involvement in helping prevent war, and all the details RCMP had guided me to know the couple years before, this was totally lost in my mind or just not looked at and in dissociative state of amnesia of what i had actually done in 2006 to prevent what would've been brutal nuclear war.
Why that happened on the same day is quite supernatural to me personally.

At this point it's not surprising we live in a world of interests look at Chile for example you could say that the democtracily elected socialist leader would have become the next Stalin we have no idea how he would have been the pro American dictator however was everything it should fight against a person who has no care for rights and have tortured thousands of people and even without that look at Bangladesh 3 million people died with war with Pakistan and the USA didn't even bat an eye at Pakistan because that would go against there interests the cold war is basically a shit show both sides didn't care wether the person they were getting into power was a competent empathic leader they cared more about wether he was red or blue

A few years back when my son was in graduate school he asked me to read a book called overthrow and its about instances in a modern American history starting with Hawaii where we did things like this and he started off his reasoning by saying 9/11 would never of happened if we hadnt put the Shah in power. I thought wow I didnt know we put him in power because I was never taught that. So if you want a good book its not about things that other countries havent necessarily done its just things that havent been taught that we should probably know about. This particular episode is the one that didnt work that is still haunting us today.

The CIA and French intelligence agency also helped Khomeini's coup against Shah Pahlavi. Khomeini lived in exile in Paris at the time and the US and France wanted the Shah gone because he sided with the OPEC oil embargo. They aided in anti Shah protest and flew Khomeini back to Iran to lead the revolution. The US has a history of backing muslim extremists like the Muslim Brotherhood they supported in their fight against Nasser.

Mosaddegh was not democratically elected, he was selected by the Shah and approved by the Majles. Just read Iran's Constitution of 1906. Mosaddegh dissolved the Majles to which he had no right. Many important members of his own party warned him against this as this gave the Shah the power to dismiss him and to select a new prime minister, which the Shah did. Mosaddegh broke the Constitutional law by ignoring this.

Same thing happened in Bangladesh in 1982 too I think. The CIA helped the Bangladesh military overthrow the democratically elected government and establish a west friendly military dictatorship. Correct me if I am wrong though. I am Indian so have only heard the Indian perspective, which is negative mostly as the Ershad government that took over Bangladesh was hostile towards India.

This is like the 5th instance of either our government completely screwing its own people or going out of their way to screw other countries people Ive heard about in the last 4 or 5 days, I used to wonder why even our allies (and most other countries on the planet) dont particularly like us, but after you hear about all the horrible stuff our leaders have done, its small wonder.

Should have done the U. S. involvement in Vietnam war, lead by the CIA and by first installing the Ngo Dinh Diem regime that had later led to 58, 000 U. S. lives, which is weirdl that the U. S. is now trying to woo the Vietnamese communist regime to stand against China communist All the odd and turn that again the U. S. is wasting its energy.

Im in American who lived in Iran in 1978 - when I was a little boy. We had to evacuate Iran - due to the (dangerous) instability. Iranians were always asking us what we thought about the Shah. Im going to buy that book, All the Shah's Men. This is absolutely fascinating - history not often talked about.

The 1979 hostage crisis was a response to the 1953 Iran coup. Although, I do not agree with hostage crisis that happened in Iran. Prime Minister Mehdi Bazargan was against the idea, as well. The Iranians should have informed the U. S. embassy to evacuate with 72 hours instead of hostage taking.

Literally no one blame Great Britain for starting a 1953 coup because Mohammed Mossadegh, wanted to close a British oil company in Tehran in late 40's British prime minister seek American support to go through it American presidents at that time before election refused to do so.

One window operation as Americans called it was actually pretty dirty but great tactic, install and deal with a dictator (a single party) who can impose his will no matter what, they pay him, and receive all benefits and resources of that particular country

In CIA term, this is called BLOW BACK. It is all about power and control. This game is still going on but in a more subtle and surreptitious way, it's called spreading democracy around the world, fighting communism was the other one but that's redundant now.

I think the US already knows how morally bankrupt the CIA is. Even with COINTELPRO as a start; I would argue that all foriegn and domestic agencies are simply a hand in the percieved interests of nations or controlling political party.

If US didn't throw Mossadegh away and let Iran alone, Iran would be secular democratic country, one of the largest economic powerhouses in Middle East as well as South Asia which means it would be stable geopolitical situation at the same time.

The US did NOT do it because it feared communist influence. It did it, because of oil. Very generous interpretation there my friends. We gonna leave out the UK demanding 51% profits of all Iranian oil? Oh no, we leave that part out.

Glad to see Irans history highlighted. My late husband and I escaped Iran with our lives in the 1979 revolution; such a pity that the country has been decimated by outside forces. Nice job on this video. Thanks so much!
