The 10 Most Ironic Deaths In History

Ironic deaths are the stuff of legend when it comes to the craziest deaths imaginable. For starters, the owner of the Segway died in a Segway accident and a Green Party candidate was killed by an SUV. Some of the most ironic deaths of recent memory have been gathered here on this ironic death list. Ironic deaths are both easy and hard to define; unlike the Alanis Morissette song, there's a little more subtlety to calling a freaky death ironic. Some of the most tragic deaths in history, however, were true cases of irony and life finding a way to turn death into something simultaneously funny and fascinating. These crazy deaths and stupid deaths feature stories of people who died in ways you might not expect. To see more on the 'Most Ironic Demises' list, go here:

lmao the first oneeeeee lol. if i was there i wouldn't know whether to freak out or laugh or both. id be stuck in emotion at that very moment of how fugging ironic it was.
second one i feel like was a memory lapse for sure. no one thinks about what kind of toilet they're sitting on ever and i mean why would you 99. 99% of toilets we use are porcelain, not metal. when do we ever use metal toilets prison and maybe a bus station or like a pit stop toilet even so it IS hilarious thats how he ended up dying after all.
the japanese dude who died from the puffer reminds me of the Targaryen family. they claim that dragon fire can't harm them because they're dragons and its like. naah yall just got lucky. you CAN die to fire but its just harder for it to happen to you than to others. same with this dude. he wasn't immune, he prob could just tolerate it slightly better or for slightly longer OR he's just a liar.
for the hitchhiker one. ive always wanted to see a murder case where like 2 murderers pick up another murderer or something and the whole plot is them trying to kill each other while still using each other to gain things lol. i mean you hear of serial killers picking up innocents and offing them and you also hear of serial killers hitching to off people who pick em up. why the fug have neither of them ever met! not that i want it to happen cuz it means more murderers but it would have been an interesting crime to investigate or shet, it makes for a fun movie concept!
DUDE I REMEMBER THE LAWYER WHO RAMMED INTO THE WINDOW! I REMEMBER THAT ON THE FUGGING NEWS! i was 4 lol

Eating ANOTHER Weird History meal!
Eating homemade pizza. while watching this Weird History video!
Pizza is the subject of the Weird History video Every Pizza Style We Could Find In the United States.
o I put red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese on it and am using Caesar dressing and barbecue sauce as dipping sauces.
The recipe for the pizza came from the internet, a resource that did not exist until recently.

4: 06 I am really glad that Brooke Shields (the one throwing the water) was honest enough to talk about what college life was like for someone famous like herself. which by her own judgment was not impressive.
I have met a lot of college students who straight up lie about their experience because they don't want to admit they just hid in their room.

Just found about this one in my Global History since 1500 class. Thomas Midgley Jr, the inventor of chlorofluorocarbons, who also invented Lead Gasoline, died after contracting Polio and accidentally hanging himself via his homemade Polio-rope-rig attached to his bed this poor guy couldn’t do anything non-ironically

1: 35 Reminds me of the actress Kyra Sedgwick, who has a historically famous family!
Her uncle is named John Sedgwick (a different John Sedgwick) and he wrote a book called In My Blood: Six Generations of Madness and Desire in an American Family.

4: 06 The tv show Friends really strengthened the coffee shop culture in the 90s.
It has deteriorated since as the average citizen today has significantly less of a social life and are in the public significantly less.
