Queen Victoria was not a good mother. She was overbearing, manipulative, indifferent, cold, and unsympathetic. Any heartbreak her children endured was, according to Victoria, unmatched by her grief over Albert. She demanded her younger children have no life of their own outside of tending to Victoria exclusively. She blamed the future Edward VII exclusively for killing Albert. She was jealous that her daughter, Vicky, held the title of empress; therefore, she made herself Empress of India. Any physical warmth the children received was from Albert, and after his passing, life was pretty cold. Thank God she wasn't my mother.

Huh. black tea, rosemary, apple cider vinegar rinse, rum, rinses. egg hair masks are commonly known now to be healthy for your hair today. And long skirts and tuberculosis. ya in the days were everyone spit and peed outside. never mind the waste being chucked everywhere lol. worse than wearing your shoes in the house. or waking barefoot all day in the city and getting into your clean bed today.

This video really puts things in perspective. Every era had its highlights but also some serious downsides. It's crazy how much progress we've made and how much stayed the same. Great content!

My aunt still had an outhouse back in the 70s! Triple seater with Sears catalog to wipe with! Still stands today, although she upgraded to a new bathroom in 1978
