I've read a few of these peices on -what if the sun disappeared? - And they copy each other's main points. My question would be if the earth started traveling in a straight line because the Sun's gravity was gone wouldn't that change in trajectory itself stop the Earth from rotating or throw all the oceans and continents into collision with each other as the Earth's momentum changed direction? Nobody ever talks about that in these write ups or videos. I can't see how the Earth would just go smoothly and gently changing directions and still be rotating on its axis and the moon would still follow suit and keep orbiting around the Earth. It seems it would be a pretty instantaneous cataclysm within 10 minutes.

You-re explaining all this with NASAs FAKE earth globe that they brainwashed us with in the schools. The sun and moon are INSIDE and aren-t that big.

The oceans would completely freeze because with no gravity the atoms couldn't move. Thus no heat at the ocean floor. No electric either, because how would you generate it without gravity?

You forgot to mention that upon the disappearance of the sun, anything not firmly tied down would be flung approximately 700 miles eastward. We'd all die instantly.
