Yes inconvenient.
Bi product. Wire insulation bi product of oil on wires. No wire to wire up electric cars wire house the transformer that move power are full of oil. Blades on windmills can-t be made that a bi product of oil plus each windmill has a tub of oil so you can get the power. Solar the wire to wire up insulation on wire the inverter are bi product of oil. So green energy need oil. Carbon fuzz in soda is compress carbon bi product of oil. The new road hard top need oil. Plastic bi product so that cell phone case or cell phone mold is bi product of oil. Computer frame and game cartage is bi product of oil. Chargers for phone, plugs and switches are bi product of oil. Many more things. That make life easier.

There would be massive shortages of electricity, food, and clean drinking water. Hospitals would lose patients, houses would burn down, and we could look forward to total social and economic collapse of the United States. We do not have a back up plan in place, so that is the grim reality. Other developed countries would share the same fate. The only people that would be unaffected would be those isolated tribes still following their ancestral way of life, and people like the Amish would be affected to a lesser degree than the rest of us.
And it would not affect climate change in the least. We are not the cause of climate change, a host of factors that are completely beyond our control are at play.

It is not politicians who are to decide when internal combustion cars will be removed from production and new technologies must displace them spontaneously, just as horses have been displaced by cars, just as machines have replaced people in the hardest jobs. Just as electricity with its innovation displaces kerosene lamps and then gas lamps from the market, it was not politicians who decided about it, but the technological development of people. the process of introducing electrofication took over 50 years to reach every home, the same must be the process of replacing the car or other technology that uses minerals or oil, otherwise there will be famine, poverty, riots and wars.

It is scientifically proven that it is the level of carbon dioxide that increases when the temperature on the earth is higher and not vice versa, after all, studies of the cores of the ice show that the change in temperature on the earth has been changing for a thousand years, times and times. politicians to rob nations of money. For 20 years, they have been robbing nations of their co2 fee, what percentage has the co2 level in the atmosphere changed since then (Nothing) Because the level of co2 in the atmosphere regulates the process of absorbing carbon dioxide by oceans and seas, the same that account for more than 95% of the earth's telecommunications production.

At the 0: 15 mark, that is mostly water vapor, not carbon dioxide. At the 1: 54 mark, Norway is shown as being a wonderful green country that uses renewable energy sources when in reality it sells billions of gallons of oil each year to other countries for them to burn in order to prop up their own existence as a -green- country and a -model- for the rest of us. Pure hypocrisy. Finally, there's not enough solar energy to replace fossil fuels. Nuclear is the only answer, and until we can rely on fusion energy, we're stuck with fission. This is all fact, Jack.

If we stop burning fossil fuels today absolutely nothing would happen because 8 billion people are still breathing. Everyday we exhale more carbon dioxide than we've burned in the past 100 years. Also, Most of the major oil corporations wouldn't go bankrupt because they own as they own those solar panels and wind turbines. The answer is planting more trees. Every open piece of land needs to have several trees on it. The earth will do the rest. Climate change is real. But the answers to beating it are not.

What a lame azz video- This 1/2 takes big oil talking pts and acts like it-s either all or nothing- This video is propaganda- We CAN NOT continue to use fossil fuels like we have been doing because it will soon be to hot to grow food or live in many places on Earth period-
If warming continues it can only warm up more and faster than B4- Not getting off oil will lead to a permanent small suffering race of a small number of humans whose life will be permanent misery and that could even be U,

Is this video serious? Or its just some archaistic industrial revolution propaganda?
Well good morning, wake up. Fossil fuels were alwas a big gamble game. Never ment to be permanent, nor they can be.
Usage of fossils must be replaced as well as the materials we use in our products. Including plastics.
Afforestation and bio-industial production via mycelium based materials must take a place among our everyday life.

Solar power wouldn't be a thing if you can't mine the materials needed to create batteries and solar panels. Factories that manufactures Medicines and chemicals will also shut down. Farmers who uses machines to farm will have to make their farm smaller. Famine and disease will swipe across the world, the world will go back to the olden days, where slavery is needed for work force.

I'm doing small things to save energy everyday I always run my phone and tablet on battery saving mode even with 100% battery it last a lot longer, unplug my unused appliances, lights, tv and I have a small solor charger but it works best with apple products. Bikes walking running instead of driving to the corner store

Looking back from the 1900s when it was the greatest development of heavy industry, it can be said that industry has changed positively for people and the environment, it was not the result of politicians but technology and innovation, and internal combustion engines in cars are the greatest example.

What is the plan for building solar panels without coal which is a melted with quarts to form each panel which takes a tremendous amount of heat to accomplish? Also, where will the energy come from to mine and process all of the various rare minerals used to produce solar cells?

Ugh the guy is a bit extreme tbh. Transportation will not just disappear if we ban fossil fuels- also the annual revenue will be transferred to the green sector- same goes for the jobs. But the issue is the lag effect. we dont see the positive impacts until the long run

How beautiful our earth would be if we don't have these fossil fuels and technologies. I want to live in a normal way- not that hectic way like what we are now. I want to live like I am in a fairy land where there is always green and no worries on any phenomenons.

Scientist must invent something that converts carbon dioxide to oxygen. A big machine or technology that will converts hundreds and thousands of carbon dioxide to oxygen a day.
If planting trees now a days is not enough, we need that kind of technology.

It definitely did not take a 4 degree increase to put an end to the ice age. Under 2 miles of ice, it would still be melting. Catastrophic events occured to bring the planet into the ice age and out of the ice age.

No such thing as Fossil fuel!
How many fossils would it take to produce oil? Oil is abiotic! God gave us all that we need on earth to survive! Bunch of garbage coming from our governments! We will never run out of anything!

There are more important problems out there in third world countries that first world never try to solve even if they could.
Climate change is made suddenly very big issue by first world and that created -green scam-.

What's more important? money? cars? Technologies? etc. or our lives and the environment that we live in? it is way better to live without those things than seeing the earth die and us too.

How is it that if we stop burning fossil fuels today, global warming would continue, but if we reduced carbon 50% by 2030, global warming would stay below 1. 5 degrees Celsius?

-The reality is, if we don't stop burning less fossil fuels now, the result would be devastating-. There is no evidence whatsoever to make such a statement.
