What If We Powered the Planet With Seawater?

Seawater is salty, undrinkable, and a potential source of planet-saving fuel. Hold up. Fuel? Yes, that-s right. We have the technology to convert seawater into liquid fuel. Could your car use it? Would it be carbon neutral? How would it affect your vacation plans?

While I love any alternative to abiotic (not fossil) fuel, and loosening the grip the big banking families have on this globe energy-wise, I find it sad how this video is working uber hard to spin that carban is the devil and the main reason why we should shift to hydrogen. Did you know that our hydroponic grown foods grow on 4-5 times the atmosphere's carbon dioxide levels? That's because they grow bigger and faster with much more carbon dioxide - which enables plants to complete their processes more safely and efficiently. Did you know that this planet has enjoyed 13% more greenification over the past 30 years due to human carbon emissions? Yea, we've done the planet a favour by releasing this life giving gas. Did you know that during the dinosaurs carbon dioxide was 5 times our atmosphere's level? Without this, the plants wouldn't have flourished and grown to the massive sizes required to suspect the massive dinosaurs. We humans may have performed our entire planet the biggest favour possible by releasing carbon dioxide. And the banking elite would have you believe that we are the cancer on this planet by releasing carbon dioxide. Pity that science and history doesn't smile on them. They'll lose, humanity will prevail.

Commiefornia leftwing indoctrination. Your state is on fire because you Econazis want to protect snails and owls so you don-t properly manage your forests. Then the forests burn down displacing humans and the snails and owls die anyway---. Commiefornia runs out of water because your braindead Democrat government hasn-t built any new reservoirs to keep up with population growth and even when reservoirs are full, open the gates and let all the water flow back into the ocean. Your government has to keep you believing -global warming- is to blame so you sheep keep allowing them to waste your money and then tax you even more for these bs programs. You just keep funding the solutions to problems they create.
If Commiefornia had actual adults in charge they would be building new nuclear plants that desalinate and produce electricity. Keep swallowing the propaganda sheep.

You skipped a crucial point: How many kWh of electricity do you need for 1 liter of fuel? 20? Even more?
The production of such e-fuels consumes enormous amounts of electricity.
Because you can't -extract- pure hydrogen from seawater, like you extract carbon dioxide, you have to use electrolysis to get it.
No problem for some liters on a nuclear powered ship (plenty of electricity, but a big problem for mass production, because electricity still mainly comes from burning fossil fuels globally.
However, in far future, such e-fuels based on water, carbon dioxide and green electricity (or maybe nuclear) will probably play an important role as an energy carrier.

Desalinated plants produce 1. 5 times more brine than drinkable water. If we could somehow use that brine (high level of salt water) to produce energy that will auto support those plants, it will be a huge step to solve the energy problem that these plants face to operate: they need a lot of energy to work and produce drinkable water.
There is no proof but, what if brine could harm ecosystems in the oceans? That's why we are in need to find a way to use brine. We are definitely not in a position to risk marine life by pouring brine into the oceans.

slamming climatescam free energy i already had a chinese calculator with a battery running on seawater or salted water nothing special anode plus diode katalyst in salt water. after this one item i never so another one, suppressed technology? Seawater instead of oil will be great for your wallet and will beat all carbonemission so the carbon control system through Qr codetraking wont be necessary anymore, freedom, no tracking, free or cheap seawater in your cars and planes. no tracking no carbonemission or carbonfootprint!

Actually it is perfect for submarine to electrolysis sea water make oxygen for breathing and hydrogen for engine room and torpedoes. For larger ships then do the same thing and use hydrogen to drive engine and oxygen as part of fuel cell to reacted with carbon in the air make sugar and recharge battery or use it for cooking fuel or rocket fuel when mix about 35 percent hydrogen and 65 percent oxygen
reply

There's two pathways to use one distilling the sea water and two reverse osmosis both systems use energy on top of that electrolysis unit also uses energy and now you have two different systems taking in energy so you need 56KW of energy to produce 1kg of hydrogen. The idea is right way but needs to efficient so from 56KW to 40KW would be better.
reply

Dude thats so much miss information in 8 minutes, ther didnt use th sea water as energy source like you claimed they used it as energy storage energy that was generated in this case from a nuclear reactor. And the idea of converting carbon and hydrogen to green sustainable fuel is already being done by blue crude and other
reply

Ok I want to know what happens to the salt from that sea water? Where does it go and what would happen to the oceans without the salt? Every living thing in the oceans relies on the salt would the plant life and animals be affected? Would we be creating one more problem for the environment by converting salt water to energy?
reply

Dear MBS, you are on the right path. sea saltwater, what a Strong gift of nature for humanity? desalination & hydrogenation with wind & solar energy is very very useful, we can make, Salt stones for buildings, clean water for lives and Hydrogen fuel for cars and kitchen from sea, saltwaterwater only.

So take the carbon that is captured in seawater and is not contributing to global warming and release it in to the atmosphere where it does contribute to global warming. Brilliant! How is this better than taking carbon from fossil fuels and releasing it in to the atmosphere?
reply

What if the whole climate farce was really about globalists wanting to tax working people out of existence? Oh wait that-s exactly what it is, they don-t want solutions to their non problem they just want more control. The video above is nothing but a propaganda piece.
reply

At first i thought it was going to be hydroelectric, then as I kept watching I was thinking, wouldn't we disrupt ocean life, or what if we use it all up? How much would we use in a day globally, weekly etc. We say abundance but nothing lasts forever right?
reply

they're already using Stan Myers inventions. the secret society Freemasons illuminati Jesuit elites globalists killed him because they can't control us if we're not using fossil fuels. they also can control us with the B. S. carbon footprint.
reply

Your whole logic is very flawed. You're saying that burning carbon that was stored beneath the earth is bad but burning carbon that was stored in the ocean is good? If it has the same effect on our atmosphere it is therefore equally bad.
reply

You lost me as soon as you said more expensive. Charging more is not feasible and it-s not innovative. It may work in western cultures where this sort of thing is cared about, but other countries (like China) just do not give a crap!
reply

the solution for Climate change zero carbon emission no carbonagenda necessary! Abolish the carbonagenda, start seewatertech and do worldwide recycling of all basic commodities, waterpurificationplants operated by solar energy!
reply

Releasing CO2 into the atmosphere that we released from the ocean is not -carbon neutral-. It's putting CO2 into the air exactly the same way as fossil fuels only it comes from the sea, not the land. What are you trying to pull?
reply

4: 43 cough industrial farming subsidies cough
On the plus side the US military is making this sort of tech. But with how much of the budget they're getting, I wonder why there aren't more of it already.

In 200 years, if u use up all e seawater, nuclear energy, geothermal energy, e world will look like in e movie The Matrix. that would link to your other video If This World Was An Illusion.

What if seawater could be turned into fuel using power from an aircraft carriers nuclear reactor with an efficiency of 0. 0001%? Wow, incredible that you can sell such false hope click bait.
reply

Push the government to make change? Sure! they'd just murder whoever starts building an alternative for fossil fuel. I remember Stanley Meyer. The only push we need is to purge the government.
reply

Some days ago. a guy here in Pakistan dicovered a way to use water as a fuel in car and after one week from that no one ever saw that guy again. may be killed by petrol industry mafia
reply

Why not just use hho from sea water to get hydrogen and oxygen to burn. No need for a catalyst when you could have the electrolysis equipment that can be reused over and over.
reply

Not a good idea. give it time you'd empty the sea. plus where does the sodium go? Same problem with desalination. putting the salt back into the sea would just kill everything.
reply

Anyone with basic knowledge in chemistry understand the potential dangers of expanding the use of hydrogen technology. Massive leakage will further deplete atmospheric Ozone.

Nuclear energy power plants is the way to go fellas, most efficient and productive source of energy at low cost to date, with a minimal footprint on the eco-system.
reply

CO2 capture with CaO + water, and chlorialkali process to H2 and bleach products, then CO2 from CaCO3 with the H2 from the salt water electrolysis, into CH4
reply

WHAT IF WE USE THE SAME FUEL TO evaporate ocean water to separate it from salt. I mean if the fuel is not polluting and widely available we can use it!
reply

What if eliminate all oil industry company. and replace them to renuwable energy company that's a more sense of this world full crap oligarcy. -
