The planet was going through a similar warming trend 12, 000 years ago until it abruptly stopped. That was due to the Younger Dryas event. The impact from the meteors trigged a chain of events and resulted in a new age age. I find this scenario far more terrifying and the odds more likely. And it doesn't have to be an asteroid either. It could be a super volcano, or the ocean current disrupted.

Just as a clue. A lot of plants receives MORE light than necessary and a panels with -holes- that allows partial solar income are fine for good yields on a lot of species and have lateral benefits like more shadow = less water usage and low surface temperature.

You Fool! You don't know what is Energy? You can't destroy it but you can convert it to other form. The solar energy is converted into electricity which is converted into heat which is disposed into our oceans and accumulate which melts our polar ice caps and powers super typhoons. You fool why do you think solar energy is clean energy!
