What if a United America Collapsed in the 18th Century, part 1?
video description
But to have family betray you does make people very more angry!
And I think the British feel while they were busy defeating Napoleon! And their back was turned the Americans cousin stab them in the back by taking british territory! And the American cousins would not dare try to take their territory if they haven't been busy fighting Napoleon! Filling betrayed the British pubic be outrage by the Americans attacks! And would concentrate a very large force to take back their territory! Dealing with a very large force of experience soldiers who month long trip allowed them to be ready for big battle! And if british landed twice as many forces than the Americans if not much more! Then the Americans would be out match and out gun and loose the battle! Americans would loose very badly the battle of new Orleans! And the British would retake their territory as well as pushed into the southern most territory! Now facing a major size army that all their militia combined could not STOP, especially since you pissed them off! So more likely the northern states who already had their butt kicked by Canadian forces would be afraid the canada forces and the British forces meet up they can say goodby to probably losing their entire state itself, so they cut and run! Quickly making peace with canada and Britain after all they didn't grabbed any British territory that was the southern states! Left to their own after being betrayed by other states the southern states either was completely taken by the British or peace where they loss all territory west of the mountains!
And the British would leave behind their guns over to friendly tribes telling them keep the Americans from coming over the mountain and setting on your land sort of producing a buffer zone between them and the southern Americans! The southern Americans would have all their hatred not towards the British! Though some hate to the indians on the other side of the mountain keeping them out! But no most of their hate be towards the northern states that encourage them to take the territory of the British but ran away and made peace with the british leaving them alone to lose! A big betrayal by the northern states so they gathered enough forces the southern states didn't go over the mountains to fight the indians! BUT INSTEAD went north to take their lands for all the territory they lost because the north stares betrayed them and so they owed them!
But the northern states did not lose as many people in their war with the canada and have a larger militia then southern militia. And though surprised at first the northern militia would fight the smaller southern militia and defeat them pushing them far into southern territory and take a whole southern state! The retreating southern army would have many southern refugees running away from the burning and killing they believed the ungodly northerners would do! At least that what their leaders told them would happened! Well the north has new territory and that was empty of farmhouses in the dozens! And the cities half empty of people so quickly settled and fill up cities as well.

personaly i dont think that the south and midwest american coalition would be capable of defeating england because i think that the royal navy would have blockaded the states a part of the army would try an amphibeus landing but another part would land in canada and try to take back the american occupied territory. the south american economies would became very weak because they need the african slaves which they wouldnt get because of the blockade and in they would have enough supplies to support a long war because in our timeline a huge amount of equipment and supplies came from the french(dourning the war for independence) but the french would have been defeated by the coalition and unable to help. they public would be a little bit more concerned because the americans were the ones hat attacked british territory and because of all this and the lack of money because the suth and mid are not major traders would in the long war be the states downfall, but the british probably wouldnt comepleatly annex thet, what they would do you guys comment below

While definitely an interesting scenario, I think you might've made a mistake on how the Louisiana Territory would've been divided up. Since it was largely fought by the Southerns, it'd make more sense that they'd try to control as much of the Territory as they could, multiplying their potential powerbase astronomically. Of course, we know that such a thing is implausible and that the Middle and Northern states would've pulled any number of tricks or whatnot to get some of that land for themselves. And this could've easily led to the first armed conflict between the States, a type of 'proto-Civil War'.
But I digress, it's your scenario and it's still rather entertaining.

Great video. That said I believe you have underestimated the potential power of New York vis a vis Pennsylvania.
New Yorks population was comparable to Pennsylvanias. The physical barriers between them (along with the buffer state of New Jersey) make invasion, by either, unthinkable.
The Erie Canal was first proposed in the 1790s and completed (without federal funds) by 1825. The city of New York would progress in the same way it did in real life except with the added dimension of being in the capital of a nation based on trade.
New York would dominate Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, and the waters around Long Island; but lack the horsepower to project power any further.

Tecumseh successfully unifies the First Nations tribes North West Territories. It becomes a sovereign state backed by Britain to contain expansion to the Mississippi River.
Since the Iroquois Confederacy largely depopulated Ohio early in the 1700's, Pennsylvania colonies it and expands it's border to the western end of Lake Erie.
In the Napoleanic Wars Britain didn't give a damn much about Louisiana. I doubt they would in this time line, either. The Southern Confederacy may purchase at least the southern portion from France, to have the river ports of New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

You forgot to mention the Western Confederacy, (for those who dont know, it was a massive coalition of natives in what was then Americas Northwest Territories. The Confederacy nearly defeated a united American army. Sure, the likelihood of the Confederacy forming without Americas imperialism might be slimmer, but if the states were trying to annex their territory, it is certain that the tribes wouldve risen up. With the disunity if the states, even if they were in a pact, the likely hold of them being able to conquer the Confederacy would be incredibly slim.

I don't think NY would of allowed not getting of the territory VA & PA split up. If they did it would cause outrage and when the britts went to war and invaded thru Maryland. NY would of jumped in and attacked PA who was to far spread out to fight on 3 fronts. If PA managed to put up a fight the other northeastern states would of likely allied with NY seeing the Southern states with PA as growing to powerful but its a fun experiment to guess what would happen.

So Britton just conked all of the Louisiana territory but would give up because of being war winery ok sound logic there not that after years of wearing the army would be super experienced not at all and would struggle to fight against a tiny population were most likely some of them would ally against the other states with Britain to try and concerted their nabobs not at all nope

You forget all the cultural differences between the states. Pennsylvania would not have stayed english speaking in this scenario, it would have changed to german, attracting even more german immigrants, while other nationalities concentrated more in other places. That would have made the rivalry between the blocks and the competition for good lands much fiercer.

Its likely nobody would care about luisiana since a lot of the spread west was because non slave states and slave states trying to get more senators to gain political control. Without the need for more political control there just wouldnt be a big push west, meaning in our timeline sooner or later a few competent native american nations come about.
