Mexican are neither European or Fully Aztec but the traditions of Aztec are still in grain. I really don't get the title. When if you actually know Mexican History it would be that the Mexican/Aztecs did beat the Spanish and many more European Nations that have tried to occupied Mexico. This title of down playing Mexican victories to move your view is false and a lie. When the Mexican flag is neither European or Aztec but of the both. The eagle represents Aztec and the colors of the land of Mexico.

Imagine if that one guy who brought smallpox (it was ONE GUY) didn't show up, the Aztecs won, and like the Japanese they reverse engineered the gun and domesticated surviving horses. The christian god asked for sacrifices in the form of holy wars and their rituals were a mock cannibalism (Eat of his flesh, drink of his blood. christianity was not morally superior to the Aztec Empire's religion. It was just as barbaric, violent, and depraved.

I realize this would affect Philippines hugely too because of all the Spanish and Mexican influence here, this means the Spaniards would've been discouraged from going further in colonization and we could've either survived at least until the 1800s (like the rest of Southeast Asia, or become some sort of Portuguese/Dutch/Japanese colony
Which also means an alternate Magellan would likely not come from Spain

Scholar are idiots many a times just making up history, saying that aztec, Mayans, Incan were barbaric, savages, or premative were the Christian Europe's propoganda similar to calling old Europeans pagens, the story that says Aztec Mayans and incans use to sacrifice their own people, is not correct and just a propoganda of Europe to justify their rule and that they were the ones who brought civilization

Mettlesome
As someone who studies this subject quite a bit. I have to say that the Spanish conquest was inevitable and not only necessary for the survival of the natives there from the bullies (Aztecs, and Incas) but it brought about me, today (a Hispanic. Note, Cortez's big advantage was his experience as a lawyer in Spain, his undeniable Charisma, and being a man of his word.

Corrected title: what if the Mexicas had beaten the alliance of Tlaxcaltecas, Totonacas, Cempoaleses, Michoacanos, Huejotzingos & Spaniards against them?
Horses, gunpowder and accidental spread of diseases were useful, but dominance of Tenochtitlan would have never happened without the alliance of all tribes willing to get rid of the bloody rule of the mexicas

The Azteaks after tasting such yummy white meat would have inquired where it had come from and built a fleet of ships ten times the size of the gallions and invaded Spain with the help of revengeful Moors. Every white man would have been butchered and eaten and the French who were quite cruel at that time would have joined the Barbeque.

The aztecs actually had alcohol in the pre-columbian era they used for various ceremonies; frankly a lot of this video is full of severe misunderstandings of their culture, technology, and history, even if you do hit on a lot of good alt-history ideas, and crutches on factoids or woozles that really were just propaganda from the beginning
