What if the North had Won the Korean War?
video description
And if you understood geopolitics and the consequences of wars, you would realize that losing 1/3rd of your civilian population, and literally every building in your entire country over 2 stories tall would seriously effect your development.
Clearly you don't quite grasp the history of Communism as an ideology, nor do you understand the differences within the Communist movement if you honestly believe that every single attempted revolution was a Soviet style authoritarian one. It comes off as intellectually dishonest, and your analysis suffers for it.
You should also brush up on Anarchist philosophy if you believe that Anarchism and Libertarianism is similar in any way. The biggest difference is that Anarchism is anti-Capitalist, while American style libertarians (a word that originally denoted libertarian Marxism back in the day, yeah, it was and still is a thing) are hardcore simps for Capitalism.

Sorry but this is a very superficial and worthless analysis and prediction with very little real knowledge of the internal workings of the Communist Party at the time, Mao's comment is largely interpreted as a form a bold deterrence showing that one's willingness to engage in an ugly war(kinda similar to North Korea today, he is also largely sidelined after the failure of the great leap forward(hence the Cultural revolution) so the idea that he alone could order the usage of nuclear weapon on the United States in a 'Vietnam War' is also frankly far-fetched. Mao commands huge popularity over the masses, but blind support from the party cadres are far from certain.
I think it goes without saying that boiling the reformist faction with the Communist Party down to 'Deng XiaoPing' and asserting that reforms would happen after a nuclear war is a wild simplification.
I hope you do realise that North Korea going down the path of self-isolation while China going the path of reform and opening-up is often up to pure chances/chaos, through the internal power dynamics that no one could have predicted.

> nobody is saying real fascism hasn't been tried
There are people saying that. Not quite the same way, due to history of the right, but people do make similar arguments. Our ethnostate won't be violent, the blacks and the Jews can be deported humanely, with fair compensation.
But in the end, fascism has hate and revenge at it's core. You might be a dumbass and argue that it's a just hate, but there can never be peaceful fascism. On the other hand, while communism can turn hateful very, very fast, it is not intrinsic to the movement.

2: 13 Maybe the reason is that the communism was founded 70 years before than the Soviet Union by a philosopher, fascism is been founded 8 years before the March on Rome by the same man who has marched on Rome, same thing for Nazism, the fascism had the building of a totalitarian oppressive state as his principal target, and it doesn't hide this, on the Italian journals in 1939 the propaganda describes the Axis Rome-Berlin as the alliance of the totalitarian States against the democracy, and it use democracy as an offensive word.

This projection is all over the place and assumed communist leaders are all megalomaniac mad men. Let me remind you this, Obama is responsible for more than 10 million refugees and Europe turning right yet is he widely praised in the West.
What would happen if the North unified Korea in 1950? Korea would be a developing economy roughly on par with costal Chinese provinces (roughly US$17000 per capita) and Taiwan the same range and unified with mainland. Thats it, no crazy nuclear war and supervillain like in video games.

Hmmm this video was kinda sloppy. I really doubt mao would have used nuclear weapons on the American mainland, even if he did I doubt he would hit the east coast. It would be a wonder if they crossed the Pacific in the first place. At Most, I can see china bombing japan and south Vietnam and I really doubt he would do that either, seeing millions of troops in Vietnamese jungles would have turned the tide by themselves even more easily than in Korea

2: 15 Im not a communist but I feel this comparison isnt necessarily fair. Fascism has murder and racism baked into the ideology. Communism is in theory just an economic system. One that has been time and time again hijacked by evil power hungry maniacs. Thats why some believe that communism could be successful. Do I agree, no. But I understand the difference between that and fascism.

We couldn't even stomach getting a few thousands troops killed. It's a war of aggression against a country Americans never heard of on the other side of the world. The idea that Americans would support the Vietnam war more if it resulted in NYC getting nuked is laughable.
