Whatifalthist Q&A Live Stream Anthony: I have 2 and a half questions, (different timezone AUS, could not be on livestream)
1. Why do you think their is an underrepresentation of the Byzantine Empire in film and television. Even though the Byzantine Empire/Greece fought massive battles that were surely epic enough to warrant a film. Do you believe it has something to do with the fact that they fought the Turkish/Muslims and this is a touchy issue. With this point also what do you think about things like greeks historic claims to Costantinople (Istanbul) and what would happen in the event of war with turkey.
2. Do you believe Christianity in the near future could see a resurgence as it's main base in Western Europe shifts to Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia. Do you believe that rapid loss of religion in the west is due to societal factors such as child rebelliousness or the rapid advancement of technology, that could become less impactful as time goes on.

54: 40 you're right from like a very basic level, but only if you consider every law ever put in the books to be a regulation.
The principles of property rights and self-ownership are a form of social control, which arise from the originally Roman concept of natural law -- that is, universal law that can be applied irrespective of local culture and customs, and is rooted on your rights and dignity as a human.
And those are, in virtually all cases, enough. You can't take someone else's property, you can't damage it, you can't harm them and you can't enslave them, without their consent. Every law that is actually worth passing is just an interpretation of those basic principles. Laws beyond that are excessive and not respectable.

Bro why are you calling monsieur z a white supremacist? Thats retarded, do you have any proof of that? Which views of his are white supremacist? You call yourself a centrist, yet anyone who calls someone else a white supremacist is clearly adopting a leftist framework of speech. I love your content this kind of makes me sad to see you stoop so low.

Do you think that the reason liberia and Ethiopia were not colonized is because they were both Christain prior to European colonization? Ethiopia was ruled by Christian Kings almost entirely from around 330 to 1974 at which point decolonization was underway.

another country i'm 99% sure will split in the near future is belgium. we've had seperatist sentiments since our inception and in the past 10 years our seperatist party has grown from 5% to close to 20% and that was before the WuFlu.

Absolutely love your content and your surprising predictions for the future. I would love to see an alternative history video on the Democratic Republic of the Congo similar to your What if Brazil was a superpower? video.

I'd like to see a Whatifalthist that asks what would have happened if Yalta had gone differently. What if FDR hadn't sold all of eastern Europe down the river to the Soviets?
