On average every former French colony has fared worse that former British colonies after they gained independence. Tell me how many French-speaking countries are in the G20? And how many English speaking countries?

What would the French language situation in the Americas be? I assume Quebec would be stronger but the extent of French-speaking Canada wouldn't be larger. Would the Louisiana Purchase still happen? Could France take some of the Spanish colonies or nick off part of Brazil? If so, would the language there change?

As a French girl, I'll be honest, I think about this a lot as I'm upset that we've lost the opportunity to enjoy great Indian food earlier.

I wish french had colonized india. Or maybe even the portuguese. The portuguese seem to have done a good job in Goa. Goa is quite distinct from rest of India. French also did a good job in pondicherry. Brits were only concerened with making profits and starving the indians

Would Pakistan even exist in this scenario. One big reason for the partition of India was the speed at which they left the Indian subcontinent. A more gradual withdrawal might lead to either no partition or partition along different borders.

also a lot of wars are consider defeat even thought they aren't, napoleonic wars are all won except the last one and ww2 is a french victory because we still won in 1945 (otherwise napoleonics wars can't be considered a defeat )

The lingua franca of India would be French instead of English. That is the only main difference. Both mofos were equally racist, would have sucked out money and resources and treated us like crap anyway.
