hi wired! :D
I have a paper design robot/exoskeleton, that I want to share with someone who will do something with it or to do something with it myself. One of my passions, and hobbies is lego robots at home but I don't have the equipment to make this human sized and capable of improving the human strength speed and agility. it involves enlarging the foot into a longer bone structure (similar to a dog or cats back legs) and putting a spring between the foot extention and the lower leg to add support and make running and jumping easy. you could say it looks a bit like general Grievous from starwars. what should I do? all my scale models got better and better till I got to my current version which I'm reluctant to edit, and now I'm not sure where to bring this design?

There is no denying that this is an amazing robot. However, I miss the days when ComicCon was about fans who spent months figuring this shit out in their garage, and not about corporations that design this stuff for a living and can throw buckets of money and pro designers at a problem. Also. hey, that's the time traveler dude from Enterprise!

I wonder whether the design of the skeleton like structure that they put underneath all of the body pieces is something that has been around for a while, or if they copied skeletonics take on it or something, because that's the other one I've seen using that structure.

I was a little disappointed. I was expecting a actual mech. I remember last year when they brought out the KURATAS series of prototypes.
Damn it! I want my mechs now dammit! My inner nerd is screaming for it!

That asian guy's concept robot looked way cooler than the one they choose.
Why does a robot need dreadlocks? I mean why stop there, give the robot a bong and some robot ganja.

it would definitely save time and money, imagine all you need to do is 3d model something in a program like cinema 4d and hit print and scale it to whatever size you want: D

I feel like some of the other designs hide the person inside more. I like the costume and everything but when i look at it i can tell that there is someone controlling it

Let's not forget about the Landmates of the anime/manga -Appleseed- they also had mech suits that had four arms as well.
