Im prolly gonna be downvoted here but. I sorta want stromgarde to be clustered and very maze like how it is currently when they rebuild it, not these overly WIDE OPEN castles that feel totally empty and feel like one SMALL building instead of a massive castle thats cram packed and clustered with an overbearing amount of buildings, making the place sorta a maze and making exploration of it fun when you find some sort of hidden nook or cranny you didn't know existed, all this opening and cleaning up makes it feel SUPER empty in there like theres 2 buildings not counting the town hall: /

This is beautiful! Thank you!
Love the new visuals. And I also was hoping to see Arathi restored at some point in game: ) I guess this is it: D
With continents being in full control of one one of the factions in BfA, I hope changes like Arathi and Lordaeron will happen in other old zones, Horde / Alliance settlements in them and scenery around.

My main problem with this is that it doesn't seem like there are any civilian buildings in Stromgarde. So it's just one big military camp. Very disappointed.
Could have been so cool they made it into a -northern- hub with AH, portals, vendors, etc for the upcoming war for Lordaeron.

God I love seeing the alliance retaking old lands. I'm a junkie on the Old Kingdom Lore so this stuff has me super hyped.
Btw, since alliance has made significant progress in Arathi and Tirisfal, do you think Hillsbrad and Silverpine will see some development next?

. Did Gallen's Fall had any purpose? As far as I remember, it was the only change to the zone brought in Cataclysm, and I don't think there were any quest around.
These changes in BfA feel like the zone got the revamp it should have deserved in Cataclysm.

Im primarily horde, but I've been playing warcraft since tides of darkness, and I remember the powerhouse that Stromgarde used to be.
Also, finally Arathi is being made into an interesting zone. I wonder what will happen to Hammerfall?

Not enough red! Yes Stromgarde is part of the Alliance but it should keep its own colours! I guess they're trying to hammer in the red (Horde) v blue (Alliance) theme but I am against the homogenisation of the human kingdoms.

Stromgarde was an important faction in Warcraft 2 and it did participate in Warcraft 3 to a lesser extent. Seeing it in ruins, I'd often wonder how cool it would be if the Alliance would rebuild it after all these years.

Sooo. They have changed a ruined town full of houses where people could live in, into Garrison-esque fort with few buildings set here and there? Looks like Human population has dropped significantly.

Even though I think Arathi Highlands is one of the few old zones that didn't need a boost in graphics and design this does look awesome. I had no idea that this would be apart of the new expansion either.

Jeebus, alliance is wrecking the entire northern part of Eastern Kingdoms. I better see Horde burning some Nelf zones up in Kalimdor Blizz. Make a nice BBQ out of all that lumber smh!

So do you need the expansion to access these changes or will they roll these changes out in the future?
I dont have the expansion yet and Arathi Highlands has stayed the same.

This is thrilling. Blizz is really going to town. I had no idea Stromgarde could clean up that nice. But what my heart wants above all is the restoration of South Shore.

This is a dream come true. So many years I've waited to see one of the oldest kingdoms restored.
Does this mean Danath will finally come home? ;;

So with the mission board appearing I take it this is a complete revamp of the area? Meaning it's not just used for Warfronts? I REALLY love it.

Looking at these changes I wonder if other zones like the hinterlands or feralas will get a makeover at some point.

It would be great if blizzard left Stromgarde without npc's so players would have a really cool base to RP in.

I'm having some trouble being as impressed as I should be when it seems to be mostly garrison assets again.
