It looks very good but I don't like how Blizzard stopped making 3D login screens since BfA, just a plain 2D wallpaper. Look at the cata one with Deathwing on top of Stormwind, or the portal login screens from classic, TBC and WoD or Wotlk with Sindragosa flying in every once in a while. We need this same login screen but with ICC in 3D and then the sky can be 2d with some 3d on top, it would make it look 10 times more epic.
Do you guys agree with me and think Blizzard is cheaping out with their login screens and that they could do way better?

I have not really caught up too much on the expansions but I hear the main reason why blizzard lost subs is because they changed so many of the mechanics for the worst. I thought it would be easy to keep it the same since they are expansions and not sequels. Basically keep it all the same but I would have all races here playable including the allied races at first, allow everyone to be a demon hunter instead of just blood elves and night elves and keep the new territories but with pre cataclysm game mechanics.

I remember the times of TBC that the login screen theme played the main theme in a music genre that was close to the genre of the draeneis and than close to the genre of the bloodelves.
I mean this music is great and all, but I would have loved it even more if they had separated the music in 5 parts, one for each new section of the Shadowlands we are going to visit.

Like this much better than the BfA one as the two helmets in a small dirt mound right outside a castle wall wasn't all that exciting. This on the other hand is much cooler with the souls going to the Shadowlands (Maw) and it's nice how they colored them just enough to so some people wouldn't think they're snowflakes LOL.

The visual selection is definitely the right choice in my opinion. Feels like WOTLK all over again but this thime it feels something greater at stake. Soundtrack also really captures the feelings of uncertainty, awe and astonishment for entering this realm. Good job Blizzard!

I'm still not over that Sylvanas just sWOOPED the LICH KING like that. They should've made an arc where she got super op powers or something. She was turned into a Banshee BY THE LICH KING, how does it make any sense that she's stronger than the power that made her?

BFA had beautiful areas but it wasnt able to build an interesting story like legion had. I liked those relict weapons also more. They had real stories to them. So in BFA some things were good some bad. I am interested if Shadowlands will do better.

Trilion times better than a BfA casual, trivial, most obvious one. I like it. I still think that it is strange and awful that We cannot simply choose login screen like in Starcraft 2. It seems simplest thing imaginable to offer us.

Question - Athelarius, did you up the saturation of the image and add the particle effects? I've seen WoWhead's datamined version of this straight from the game files and it doesn't look this colorful + doesn't have the particles.

i dont play WoW and i will never touch it. but the music and cinematics are always great but when you look into the game. is such a graphicle downer. so comic like. and does not fit with music and cinematic. it is rly a shame. -

Blizzard should have held a contest for login screen art or something to that effect as a way to connect to their community because they really need to. I would love to see they different ones being submitted

Personally i did not like it. I mean the login screen perfect but music? This is not suppose to be a login music. Music itself good but not fitting for a login screen. I hope they ll change this.

We barely see the login screen anyways these days, since bnet automatically logs you in when you start the client. It's kind of a shame in a way, this is a pretty cool login screen.

It looks amazing but I feel like it need some more moving elements. It almost looks like a solid image because it's so still. The audio is spot on as always.

I won-t be playing this game. Looks like wotlk but I know better. They have nerfed Ret too far, and we all remember what a viable Ret felt like.
