Idk, it would be probably much better if she took the crown and used it, and the battle went back to nordend.
Instead of making this cringe emo sentence -this world is a prison-.
They couldve make the icecrown something between sylvanas and scourge, frosty/hunted like.
And probably for once nordend would be a place where alliance and horde would unite in icecrown to fight their last battle against sylvanas hunger for power.
It had so much potential because sylvanas was hated all the way and it could be ended with combined power even if the unity is just against her.
Old Dungeons and raids couldve been revived by her and upgraded with her powers making stuff much more difficult, it couldve been an expansion that isnt going for gods vs gods and multiverse stuff, but goes for the good old azeroth story.
Blizzard since wotlk they take it sometimes way too much out of warcraft feeling, it doesnt even feel atleast for me that its warcraft that im playing, thats why i probably just peeked for 2 months into bfa and went out pretty quickly without even trying shadowlands.

I still don't get how did the Horde go from fighting for Azerite in Silithus to burning Teldrassil. Seems very random, especially since that's on the opposite side of Kalimdor. Did they just abandon Silithus and all the Azerite just to randomly go burn something? Also why did the Azerite got tossed aside so quickly as a plot point?

You know, If Sylvanas actually went full Lich Queen and we just got WOTLK: 2 much like how we got Burning Crusade: 2, I would've drastically preferred that to the crap that was Shadowlands.
Also woulda made sense for character progression instead of just turning her into some weird world destroying anarchist.

The Shadowlands Xpac may have sucked but Sylvanis ripping apart the Helm and that portal opening was one of the bigger shocks from the whole series.
