0: 21 - 7: 17 - Time is a place by Tim Nakashi, published 11/24/2018: Two strangers, a woman and a man, are haunted by a recurring dream they seem to share, night after night. Their illusory time together in the dream is more freeing than anything in waking life. Or that in reality that she is married, and a paramedic who discovered his unconscious body at the scene of an accident. (6m 56s)
7: 20 - 26: 21 - Telepathy by Dave Cairns, published 3/15/2018: in the near future, an unexplained phenomenon has progressively given the majority of the world's population telepathic abilities. While many herald this as a new age of human evolution and culture, for those who do not have this gift, this new world is a dark place. The non-telepathic have become the new under-class, with new laws and social change making them less than human. Alina is a young woman who has not developed telepathic abilities. Under the new Reclamation laws, Alina is case-managed by a telepathic social worker named Ash. Through their interview, we learn Alina's story and the discrimination she has faced throughout her life. (19m 1s)
26: 22 - 32: 31 - Atoms of uncontrollable silence by Zach Zombek, published 7/1/2017: Unknown. Unexplainable. The phenomenon of silence. This short depicts a moment in which two scientists of different studies bear witness to an interconnection of separate events that extends beyond their realm of understanding. (6m 9s)
32: 33 - 37: 48 - Falling apart written, produced, and directed by TJ Hundtofte, Crawford Anderson-Dillon, and Thomas Hefferon, published 11/12/2016: 2nd place winner at the 2013 Sci-Fi London 48-hour Film Challenge. The filmmaker's were given a random title, Falling Apart, a random line of dialogue, and a random prop/action (a mug of steaming liquid- a character sniffs the hot liquid and pours it out) and then had 48 hours to write a script with those elements, shoot, edit, grade, score it, sound design, export, and deliver it in person at the London BFI. (5m 15s)
37: 50 - 52: 55 - Again by Mitch Glass, published 5/25/2017: Haunted by the memory of his girlfriend, Ben becomes obsessed with reliving their best moments together through the company, Again. A 20- something busboy finds a business card for a company that specializes in a procedure known as simulated time placement. He becomes obsessed with reliving certain moments of his life, until an overlooked side effect begins to take hold. (15m 5s)
52: 57 - 59: 34 - The two of us by: Bernard Bui and Pierre De Menezes, published 2/10/2018: A brave young hero, a damsel in distress, a daring escape. (6m 37s)

SPOILER ALERTS
_Time is a Place_. Very intriguing, but needs an ending rather than just a stopping place.
_Again_ is a short that enacts a very simple idea economically.
_Telepath_ reminds us that while not all white men are vile, everyone vile is a white man. The short does little beyond expository drama where an idea is enacted onscreen without exploring character beyond its most basic elements, those elements required to complete the story.
_Atoms of Uncontrollable Silence_ is junk, and needs at least one of character, plot, or story.
_The Two of Us_ is entirely conventional. Remember, guys, risk your life to save the princess and maybe she'll put her head on your shoulder despite her being 6 taller than you.

There's some of these short flicks that are great premises for longer movies. In fact it really doesn't make sense where they drop you off sometimes. Like the first short film on this video. It's just not fair to leave it there. It's anticlimactic, and even a bit sloppy and careless. Like they ran out of money so they just stopped wherever.

So in Companionship the woman is having treatments that allow her to dream of a man who dreams of her. Only he is in a coma and can’t wake up. That’s why he can’t find her. She can’t look for him because she knows where he is -in a coma in the hospital where she works. Is that what others get

I believe that the Telepathy short had more metaphor than i'd imagine that most people chose to see. I believe that was the one that had the factoid after it and before the next short about petitions still occurring to remove Brave New World from libraries.

Atoms of Uncontrollable Silence made no sense to me. It would help if stories had what they’re about consistently as some have an explanation to the titles some don’t. Sick of trying to figure things out. I came here to stop thinking for a change.

Wow. I had tears weld up. How could that stringy woman talk to her after hurting her, taking her baby and freedom away. I wanted to just smack her or curse her to the roots of her brain since she can read my mind. This was incredible.

I always have heard that he who pays the piper is apt to call the tune. I see so many people here and in other comment sections of other DUST short videos asking to call the tune, but they are paying $. 00 to the piper.

WOW! The first thing I thought when I was watching Telepathy was; Now you know why mommy said pretend that you cannot read people. I guess brutal honestly would have been the better choice. That was SO interesting!

The telepathy film was very good. and an accurate warning of reality very soon for all who still have a negative Pf-value! Nothing quite so dangerous or evil as apartheid and discrimination. The TV can tell you more!

Time is not a place. Time is a mental construct. If there were no biological computers, (us) there would be no time. Us and higher animals, of course. An ant has no sense of time, no need for it.

But I don't understand Telepathy. She managed to read her mother's disgust when she was a child and her mother shouted Get away from me in her mind. How come now she's allegedly a non-telepath

52: 50 - John Carpeter's 'Dark Star' (1974) was filmed for only $60000. Last name was misspelled, it should be John Carpenter.
For what it's worth that is about half a million today.

The non telepathics could be used in so many many ways but I guess having a gift like that would add some sort of superiority especially if most of the population has it

I love this film which demonstrates how hateful white society and its imperialist racist beliefs run to today. If childrennare different we will steal and punish them.

The past is the past, no matter how many time you visit it. That’s why it’s in the past. Learn and look forward to the future. It’s so bright, we gotta wear shades.
