I dislike the way this universe is run by hippies and Wiccans message is so often treated as unquestionably true. We don't know that, and have no reason to assume it. Granted, it's a legitimate story idea (more plausible than superheroes, at least, but so many SF fans and creators treat it like a religious dogma that it becomes a bit disturbing.
There is nothing in our experience of reality to suggest that the universe isn't the same Hobbesian struggle between species, tribes, and individuals that we see, and are part of, here on Earth.
Many SF people almost seem to use extraterrestrial civilization as a substitute for the Heavens, Paradises, Utopias, and Nirvanas that their scientific leanings prevent them from actively fantasizing about.

I had to thumb this down and for that, not happy. I never do that. I find value in so many things and DUST Every one amazing. This one I think, it couldve been amazing. However The music is mixed in at way too strong of a gain. Her accent is lovely, STRONG. I cranked my tv to try to hear what she was saying and missed half of it because even up loud It just increased the music even louder. Her voice, incredible, loved the accent. Cannot make out the dialogue though as a result. Please, PLEASE, PLEASE, don’t mix your background track gain levels that high. Especially when the DIALOGUE IS THE STORY. Apologies, every bit of this was worth a thumbs up if I could’ve only heard the story. Thank you.

There's evidence to suggest we have been visited for hundreds if not thousands of years. That implies if they wanted us gone, we would have been gone a long time ago. I think it more likely humanity is a violent child race about to enter adulthood. There are older races which have survived this transition, but they know this transition is not guaranteed. Intelligent life may be exceedingly rare in the universe due to several great filters, natural or artificial disasters which destroy life before it becomes interstellar. Perhaps they wish to observe, monitor and see us through this transition, and not let us evolve into some destructive force which would become a danger to ourselves or them.

Plot: girl tries to communicate with the better aliens who did not arrive
Negatives: 1) I do not know, maybe a little longer with some story and plot twist would be better What about more telling why the ancient rituals would work 2) I did not find the music disturbing the narration, but it could be a little bit quieter
Positives: it has a good potential, with the rituals and also birds were interesting
Personal note: They are not sending us their best people (Donald the Liaison)
Summary: really short short, so not much of story telling, more like a teaser

It would be so easy for aliens much more advanced than us to scam us. That’s what this is about. Think of an obvious email scam you get and just delete. The world could easily just fall for this scam once and it would be over for us. I would hope they come in peace but if not they could likely trick us and we would just accept it until it was too late. Not that we could do much even if we knew it was a scam.

Honestly it's probably exactly how contact with ET's would likely go down. Our technologies would be useless to them or against them in everyway. However the planets resources would likely be of great importance. Strip the resources without regard for the native population and move on. Oh wait that's what we are doing to ourselves. WOW, just WOW!

How would help arrive if its best to have no drive to be industrial and build civilization and focus only on being spiritual forest dwellers Hippies dont have starships. Cant we have a balance of spiritual AND responsible industrialization That would have been a better message: Balance.

I felt that one. EMPATH = ME PATH = THE MAP. To navigate said map one needs to have COMPASSion. Often to see true path to take, one needs to close their eyes and look into the darkness. All one can see in the dark is light. From within comes the INSIGHTFUL. Bring it out IN FULL SIGHT.

I once saw a cigar shaped cloud with no other clouds in the bright blue sky and something flew out of it, it left a trail starting from dead center of the cloud, it then had 2 trials and passed over the mountains where I lost site of it.

As a concept this short film is quite wonderful. My only criticism is that the actor's accent is so thick some words are unintelligible, and the close-captioning inaccurate.

Well one, IMO. Shows very little, explains just enough, and ends on the right note of ambiguity. Hope there's either a sequel or further development coming.
