A few cons for me include the movement, still feel a bit clunky when traversing the map, thankfully combat isn't affected and still tight AF. Story is lacking but otherwise OK.

So many years later and I finally got play & beat shadow of war. And mostly I just messed about in the world. Story & game play wise its still all over the place. But I found the bosses in SOM were better. the tower and the hand great fights. The nemesis style in both play throughs meant nothing cuz I never lost. Also my SOW may have been effect since they took out the orc loots boxes. All my orc are basically trash lol.

Not a fan of the game. Felt very surface and shallow. I purchased the game and still have it in my library so I'm not someone just hating, as I've actually gave the developers a sale. And granted the reviews are pretty good so obviously I'm in the minority. But I felt every aspect of the game was not done to perfection. Movement was eh, graphics eh, story eh, ect.

Lol this story could never lead or fit into fellowship because its premise is a direct defiance to the laws of mandos. All elves must go to the halls of mandos when they die there is only one exemption which was luthien. So no this is not ever going to fit into fellowship lol

Didnt know that this game were controversional back then because of lootboxes and other stuff, nowadays there are cheap as hell (on steam when theres a sale) where you can get everything in one package, also all of the best gears can be owned simply from playing the game.

started playing this game again & forgot how fun the fighting is - its real satisfying & the large number of enemies and the deaths never get old.. The Nemesis System is something i believe can be improved & expanded in the next titles, it such a great feature-

I love, love, love this game. I have replayed it probably 30x, I just read that they are working on the next installment. Not sure what that will be, but if it is anything like SoW I am all in. What a game is the correct term for this piece of work.

This is probably my new favorite game. I love the nemesis system, it makes me feel like the Orcs and Uruk-s have a true hatred for me and the thing I do. I love the revenge that comes out of nowhere when playing.

(Update) from the year 2019. Games marketplace is shut down. There's no microtransactions besides buying DLC expansions. The game has a Definitive Edition that goes on sale once in awhile for $25 or less.
