Screw EA. Over a decade ago they aquired a game called Battlefield Heroes. The game was F2P and the game designers had promised they would never allow it to be a pay to win. That micro transactions would only be used to customize character's appearances.
Yet less then 2 months after EA took control of the game, upgraded weapons found their way into the microtransactions menu. It completely threw off the balance. This resulted in more gamers looking to hacks, to balance their gameplay out. EA responded by banning, but because it was F2P, players just kept creating new accounts.
It got to the point that EA was spending more time and money then they wanted on the support and punishment systems... Soo they, put the game on autopilot and abandoned it. This resulted in the majority of the games community quiting, and the only ones being left were the cheaters and those that spent a ton of money to get an advantage.
Since then, EA has followed the same exact strategy with almost every game.
-make it pay to win
-ban cheaters
-increase prices
-automate support and punishment systems
-set game to autopilot until the quarterly earnings no longer cover the server costs, then scrap the game.
EA is a parasite of the gaming industry. They aquired a franchise, then infect it with their own unethical business strategies, fire the development team, milk every last penny they can, and then toss the games corpse to the street.

Cheaters should not be sued. This is a video game, being sued literally ruins an entire persons life. You guys down in the states need to stop propagating all this sueing is righteous propaganda. The developers should be able to deal with cheaters if they're competent. Why do I almost never see them on PUBG but they're always running rampant on Fortnite? Fix your code so its harder to mess with, people have and always will try to get an edge on other people by any means. Fixing the problem at its core starts with yourself. This also could set precedent to sue people who plays games without cheating but finds an exploit and then could be sued. That could also lead to more heinous acts of sueing against regular gamers. Its like people don't want to acknowledge the path these things can take which eventually can and usually does bite them in the ass.

At 1:50 regarding the 10 million player mark for Fortnite. I can tell you from personal experience that 90% of that figure includes gamers like myself and my many friends who play Battlegrounds regularly and tried a couple games of Fortnite, didn't like it, and then uninstalled it, never playing it again.

My vision of a cheater would be like comic book guy from the Simpsons. However, they exist and I just have to become better than them. Without cheating. I can be sadistically hardcore when gaming, but I-m honest about it and have never rubbed anyone-s nose in it when I win.

Can we get the Trash Man in wwe? I wanna eat some garbage!
Also I'm okay with cheating in a singleplayer game because a flying invincible tank that can drive on water only made GTA San Andreas even better.

Not buying battlefront 2. As a huge star wars fan, I am turned off by this pay to win model. After what happened with Visceral Star Wars game, I might not play any EA published game ever.

The cheaters only got sued because they were selling the cheats. Unless you are making money you can cheat as much as you want.
