The wall to the north thing is not a GoT reference but somewhat of a funny thing the devs put in. You see, if you go the the northern wall of alexandria, you can find a note there that says it's also boring in the north gate and they wish they were in the storage building where you found the first note.

5:13 to save you guys some time, not only do you have to complete all 12 align the stars, you ALSO have to collect 50 silica, that can be found in the tombs you explorer. The Silica is what gets you that outfit inside the vault. The align the stars only opens that vault

There is a gate to the North (reference 8) and you can find another note that say someting like he wants to guard the depot insted cuz he thinks is more fun in there

I noticed easter egg 8 in game. There's an actual wall with guards there with a note that says the place is boring and the other place is probably more interesting.
