I've got a laptop, gaming oriented, that I bought 2 years ago.
I had some issues with the fans, like they were making insane noises as if something was rattling inside, it was happening while high performances, like my baby was on its knees.
So you know, I got scared and, I have some computer knowledge but only theorical, and since this is a laptop that is completly screwed up (I need to literaly open its inside, so, having the keyboard out and all to have access) and well, I didn't want to mess it up.
.
So I went to a repair shop and gave my baby up, not without some fear (for the future bill and also, if I was to change the fans) ; it appeared that no, there wasn't any real issues.
Just lots of dust and a little tiny bit misplaced fans and that was it.
I also asked for upgrading from 8gb to 16gb of ram and let me tell you, when i saw the guy open my baby up and SHOVE IT THAT DAMN RAM with so much strengh, I had that shocked look on my face as if he just slapped my child.
.
You know, I was like -and you're putting these like that ? That strongly ?- And he answered -well yeah, you gotta put them in-.
Alright cool man sure, I still treat my laptop with more care than I'll do with an actual baby but in the end, all was good, so, happy end --

I hate when motherboard has all sata connectors under GPU, I would just burn offices of that company who designed that. :-D I/O shiled NEVER fit properly, that's a law, thank god for motherboards which have it integrated. That about buiyng from many shops is weird, ofcourse sometimes it happend that something is cheaper in one shop and another part is cheaper in other shop, but if you are not totaly poor, you probably prefer buying it from one shop instead of save few bucks which you still pay for delivery. :-D

When you miss a review on a graphics card when your pc is having problems with the screen blacking out and then after tens of hours of troubleshooting you go back to the reviews on your graphics card and find that the blacking out is a common problem and isn-t something to worry about messing up the rest of your parts

4:20 A good solution that I found to not drop screws is ChapStick. Dab a bit on the end of whatever screwdriver you're using and the screw will usually stick to it pretty well. Just don't use it excessively, and you can wipe the ChapStick from the screw with your finger later, or blow it away with compressed air.

Nah.. I build my pc as a set.. The store recommend some builds to me and bought a cpu.. They guide me and they test it in front of me.. So just buy in store instead of ordering it online! So you can choose whatever you like for your pc..
Save some money to afford that

I had Number 6 happen to me when I was building my first PC except it didn't want to go to Beneath-Motherboard Cave, which sounds like a popular tourist destination, its stop was PSU Underbelly. Luckily, the screw's head was too big to fit, so it wasn't allowed in.

I am afield service engineer for dell and in my travels I have dropped a couple screws. I usually just lift up the computer and shake the screw out. But you can take a magnet off a fridge and rub it on you screwdriver to make it magnatized.

Not only that but everything is extremely overly delicate garbage almost everything of technology seems overly delicate. You may never know or understand why people enjoy building pcs when there's trillions of unessacary problems

For me it was the screws holding down the brackets that you needed to remove to install your cpu cooler.
I had to wait until the next day to get the right screw and even then they were pretty hard to get out

Number 2 was me 100%. I spent every dime I could intelligently spend on the PC itself so all the games I planned on playing had to be put on the back shelf until I could afford it.
